Always wanted a player home like the Blue Palace but the meandering layout took most of the fun out of a single cell house design. Really wish if the plan were much more open so I wouldn't have to spend most of the time running in hallways and stairs without any view of the hall.

halls are there to cover the area to get from Bards College to the Blue Palace i could put bunch of rooms in the middle to make it even more complicated lol but i bet you'd just get lost and never find any of the exists then, i'm sorry i just wouldn't know any other way to put this unless you really wouldn't want any connection to those buildings, i could remove the hallways and simply keep the library and the main area where the throne is at, making it much smaller.

Game developers make you run around in actual corridors because: need time to load the next cell, offer different viewing angles of their beautiful cell, offer some kind of encounters. The latter two don't apply here and the time it took me to run to the other side is multiple that of using loading doors, and I still need to wait for the exit cell to load after getting to the other end.

I think using teleportation to exit to other destinations will be greatly appreciated. It's not like the UGP is physically feasible under the actual Blue Palace anyway or "lore" and we all understood this house is for fun. Running in stairs and hallways is not fun. The fun of having a big single cell home is the ambience so we can do repetitive tasks while marveling at the spouse, children and army of followers taking advantage of the amenities.

Just my 0.02, I apologize if you have plans needing to connect the two exits to scale.

This actually isn't even perfectly optimized home to begin with, i should rebuild this entire thing from the ground up because 1st it's not built on the grid and the room bounds aren't working properly, i've encountered a lots of lag when i am in the main area looking towards the crowded areas.

by teleportation you mean a teleport room where you'd find bunch of magic doors that would take you to different locations? i can do that.

but yeah, my main goal was to make this interior as believable as possible that it actually fits to the place it's been built to as the Blue Palace itself has a large area that doesn't have a cell and then the other areas are just cut into the rock that's below the Solitude.
I myself also do enjoy running through those hallways, feels like a race lol.

i should also make this home compatible with Multiple Adoptions and Custom Home addon as i've recently figured this entire thing out.

Also you don't think that it's physically feasible for it to be under the Solitude? welp i tried my best.

By teleportation I didn't mean a teleportation room, but that would be nice, I mean take out the hallways and stairs you constructed connecting the Blue Palace and Bards College in relationship to their respective locations in the exterior cell. Just put loading doors on each end of the living area that say underground passage to The Blue Palace/Bards College linking to the loading doors you place on those vanilla cells. The hallways and stairs would be fun had interiors of The Blue Palace and Bards College are on the same cell without loading doors but they are on their own cells and loading doors are still needed after all those maze running, lots of work but little payoff.

Once you put in the Multiple Adaption function IMHO it is even more important to remove the stairs and hallways, those complex meandering corridors could be a nightmare for the wife and children AI packages. The fun of having the family in Solitude is seeing the family mingling in the city life. You probably want to add patch so the family could visit Legacy of the Dragonborn. It's a popular patch for people making home mods in Solitude.

i'd really not like to modify vanilla cells much, too many conflicts will occur and i'm not dedicated to patching this for a each mod that modifies those vanilla cells, on top of it, if the cell gets too large it simply gets laggy and it's a nightmare to put Solitude's interiors into the roombounds correctly without it beginning to flicker at some areas.

"Just put loading doors on each end of the living area that say underground passage to The Blue Palace/Bards College linking to the loading doors you place on those vanilla cells." -- wouldn't that result in too many load doors? ppl hate those and NPCs do not like them either, in current build NPCs get around really well, very rare occasions i've seen them just standing still in one area.

i think my answer to you is, if you don't like it the way it is, go and find some other home mod, there's like dozen of them out there.

Trust me, this one isn't as big as some of the castles, such as castle valdmire i had my followers roaming there and it was such an headache to find them, in this palace most followers will either hang out at the bar, library or on the lower level workstations.

"welp i guess pictures give a better look for what expect."

This looks like it has potential but appears to be naked of anything that would make it appealing.  Are the bedrooms furnished?  Because empty tables and basic (and sparse) chair placement in huge room spaces don't show up as idle friendly.   How many followers fit in the two rooms with "plenty of beds"?  In real estate terms, It lacks curb appeal.  I hope you take these comments as constructive and not just mean.  I think this mod could be great with a better presentation.

As I said, it has potential, but I would be more interested if there was more flesh on the bones.  Tracked, and looking forward to future updates.

it was just a quick release.
