   Any chance we can get her as a stand alone follower instead of a replacer?

      Yes, I wanted to make a stand alone follower. Probably better if it is an archer in light armor.
      I do not know where to place a new companion.

      That would be awesome, as for location, I think as long as it's not Whiterun or Riverwood it should be fine.

   The dialog for hiring companions does not always appear, apparently serving the jarl is a priority. But you can force them to become companions with the help of mods. I conceived a mod to be able to marry Bryling. I hope you like her looks.
