    Hey guys and gals,

Would love to know which weather and/or lighting mods you're using this with, if you're not using it with the vanilla game. Please post pictures on the user image section.

Hope everyone is liking the ReShade so far. Feedback on possible improvements is very welcome, as this is my first Skyrim ReShade.

Thanks for all the downloads folks,
    -Your Neighborhood Friendly Merc

    CONTROLS:

(numberpad must be enabled for numberpad controls to work. All are remappable with in-game ReShde menu. Some controls can only be changed in the ReShade in-game "settings" menu).

    Toggle mod - "END" key
    Toggle ReShade menu - "F1"
    Take Screenshots - "F11"
Toggle close-range Depth of Field - "/" on numberpad
Toggle long-range Depth of Field - "9" not on numberpad
Toggle Film Grain - "3" not on numberpad
Toggle Sharpness - "5" not on numberpad
Toggle Cineamtic Black Bars - "0" not on numberpad
Toggle Lens dirt and some added lighting effects - "4" not on numberpad

I'm using v1.2 with NAT. :P Customised some of the settings myself and changed the NATFX settings to Cold Winter to give my game more of a bleak and harsh look. ENB was proving to be too much of a nuisance, one thing I noticed with ENB that when I used grey eyes on my character they would shine/glow almost white in most lighting conditions - but then outside they would start to become the same colour as the sunsets/other nearby light sources. Reshade eliminates that.

Nice! Glad to hear this is holding up still, and it must be awesome with nlva. Appreciate you checking out my work.

Fyi, I just dropped a reshade for Kingdom Come Deliverance.

    hey there
i like your reshade a lot

only thing i wonder about is how to get rid of that bokeh lol and also the depth of field kind of messes up menus or did i miss something out?
thanks man. i was loking for something other than an enb that has a dynamic depth of field and this is just perfect if not for it messing up the menu in my case

      Hey Heibos,

There's no way I can figure out to get reshade's DoF to stop interferring with the huds and menus. Best to just cut it off if in the menus or you can change the "DoF_BLURRADIUS" and see if that helps any in the reshade in-game menu under the DOF section.

Do you mean that you want to get rid of the Bokeh DoF entirely and just have it blur without the shiny effects of bokeh?

Thanks so much for the kind words!

Let me know of this helps.

      Have a good one,
      Merc

Also, out of curiosity, are you using Dolomite Weathers?

oh my, sorry i didnt see your reply man

thanks a lot. messing with the blurradius makes it so that the menu isnt blurry, eventhough it drastically changes the effect i wanted haha
      but its fine

also, the bokeh thing, its just that overall i dont like bokeh. but in the end i think its nice to use it for a while. i figured out how to lower it so that its a normal dof

and no, im using vivd weathers for a very long time now. before that i used climates of tamriel but since cot needed a little bit of time to come to sse, i went with vivid weathers and have been using it ever since

Just wanted to say I really like what you've done with the Dolomite Reshade. Reminds me of something between Vanilla Ice Cream and Rudy. Might make sense to create a new page/file for it. Doing so will increase visibility (new files section) and will keep the nexus gallary more faithful to each version. I made the mistake of releasing dolomite and then hiding the file because I wasn't finished, and by the time I did, the file was buried. Nice work man. Looks ice cold and frozen.

Wow thanks so much for such high compliments! Yes, it is cold indeed :]
Oh thanks for tip. Yea I was considering moving it to its own page. It is quite a bit different than the look I had in mind for Ashen.

Thanks again, this made my day!

      Have a good one,
      Merc

Hey merc , I love what you're doing with reahade man. I checked out your channel and have a lot of interesting presets that enhance some of my favorite games. I do have a criticism on this reshade though. The lens effect is very strong , seeing blue beams doesn't suit my taste . Other than that it's beautiful , I especially love the tone mapping you did. Gives the game a new interesting color

      Hey Leo!

Thanks so much for checking out my YouTube channel, other presets and Ashen ReShade! I really appreciate the critical feedback too and love that you actually told me what you don't like. I recently put links to all my mods in one place, if you're interested. Expand the first post to see them all https://www.facebook.com/MercsAssassin/

I'm happy to do a custom version of Ashen that lowers the lens effect. Before I do though, are you saying you don't want the lens effect at all or that you want the lens effect but just want it to be less strong? Oh and is it the color of the effect itself that's bugging you (i'm not sure I can change that though)?

I have a toggle for the lens effect included (pressing 4 will cut it right off). So just checking before I tweak it.

Be sure to download my latest version of this mod, 1.2, and see what you think first. The changes are almost night and day from 1.0.

      Have a great day!
      -Merc

      Hey Postgaro!

      Thanks so much!

Depends on which weapon your asking about, I use many.

Short sword with golden hilt frim Kyne's Breath I believe.
Schimatar (spelling?) from Weapons of Third Era, maybe? I'll try to check when I get off work.
