Anyway, I have Apocalypse loaded, and the table shows the scrolls I can convert.... all except Wizardfire! The very scroll I downloaded this mod for! Also Gravisphere?? It's so strange, the table shows and works with all the other spells (ie I was able to get Milestones, which never appeared in stores as a spell tome for some reason, THANK YOU for that) but not those two! Also, the Scrolls to Book table options: it's says a text box would show up, but nothing does!
Also, looks like it's been three years since the last comment. I don't expect an immediate solution, so take your time. Regardless, thank you.
Can you make a version that does the opposite, turning spell tomes into scrolls? After you learn the spell, tomes just end up being dead weight and junk item. However if there is a mod that gives you multiple of a scroll similar to the tome, at least you'll have scrolls that save on magicka for a certain spell.
I'd love to see addons for Odin, Triumvirate, Undeath, The Dark Arts, Forgotten Magics Redone, and Elemental Destruction Magic. Are you still taking suggestions?
It appears that this mod was not converted completely - Wrye Bash is reporting a Old Plugin Record Version (43/44) Generally this can be fixed by loading the esp into the CK and saving. Since I am a total newb with the CK - I was unable to accmoplish this with S2BSE Frostfall Addon.esp because the CK complains about multiple masters and aborts the file load on me. (That seems to happen with any mod that has Dragonborn as a master - why it works when the masters are Skyrim, Update and Dawnguard is beyond me - still trying to figure out how to get around this.
Just in case you still want to know the solution... 1] If you've not already done so, download and install SSE CreationKit Fixes.
2] Open a blank NotePad page, and put on it the following, exactly as you see here:
[General] bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1
3] Save it as: CreationKitCustom.ini, to your SSE folder, which is typically, something like:
D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition It's better off your System Drive (C-Drive) - no danger of User Account Control issues that way, but of course, save the ini to wherever the game folder actually is. When you save it will warn you about changing the ".txt" to ".ini". Just acknowledge and go ahead with it.
Great idea! I want to have just the one table at the Mage College...I read the book which says "A message box will appear". But no message box appears. Any ideas? Is there another way to make it come up? Thanks!
out of curiosity, does anyone know if theres a way with this mod or any other to break down spell tomes into multiple scrolls? I'm going for a playthrough as a false mage, or "book magic" only, and could use a way to get ahold of lots of scrolls fast.
Haven't got very far into testing this yet but the wandering merchant has the grey face bug. Could anyone point me in the right direction for fixing it?
Thanks
Update: Just in case it's useful to anyone, I fixed this by googling how to fix grey faces and using the Creation Kit Ctrl F4 method.
