I don't understand why this is called Skyland since I didn't make this mod. Nor is it a patch for anything Skyland related. Nor is Skyland required. In fact, it's a mesh mod that works with any and all texture overhauls...

    Why is this called Skyland?

I agree with you there. This is a mesh mod that fixes some tiling issues with any texture mod. Should have been labeled as such instead of calling it Skyland AIO.

Good meshes none the less though Asedael

The same reason Skyland AIO - Riften Keep Entryway and Plaza Modifications called so? This mod was made to work with your mod and is fixing what I believe an oversight, same as mod mentioned before. I don't really think any other fort retexture has the same issue and it's even in a description.
By default both Skyland textures used on fort meshes as a base and a dirt overlay are very similar. This results in somewhat bad tiling on floors here and there. I changed that and now there is nice dirt overlay over bricky textures, which hides said tiling.

And remark about "not only" is because it's a meshes — they work with everything. But hey, vanilla meshes work terribly with Skyland. I hope that gets you my point. Did I answer your question?

You're entitled to your opinion, looks way to plain to me. Skyland has more color and variation going on.

Probably because out of all the imperial for texture replacers out there, Skyland has some of the most obvious tiling, and as such makes this issue much more visible.

I tried doing myself, but I have no idea what i'm doing, and nifscope keeps giving errors or crashing.

Meshes from that mod is free to use, so I'll think about doing consistency patch.

Well, vanilla meshes have those shirt-like decal around them, effectively masking everything. If you want blunt solution, just move mesh itself down a little bit in a Nifskope.

To be clear, those gaps are present with vanilla/USSEP meshes too, they are not caused by your edits.

It’s the shadows that screw those up think they can be removed using the nifscope tool without shadows they will appear flat to the ground.

ENB shadows don't follow shadow casting flags on meshes.

I love this kind of mods: simple but very useful that adds more details to the game. Thank you.
