This script is also related to the Dragon's Soul and is a looping script that is permanently maintained and appears to be a loop that is permanently maintained. I was wondering if you could add this script to the conditions for automatic removal?
I'll give this mod a shot, since miraak sometimes does not show up but the visual effect does. I need to restart the game to fix that, could this bug maybe because the while loop got stuck?
It's most definitely because of the same bug in which case this mod should be useful for you. Make sure to install this before triggering Miraak to appear.
how many fixes are still pending if I may ask? I've been installing and packing your every script fix mod into an AIO and was hoping to play one big playthrough after. Nice fixes btw! I've also encountered one of the Ice Spike bug in the past. Thanks for your hard work!
Will this fix the issue where Mirrak does not go through his phases during the fight so I have to use console to advance the quest? It has happened to me my last two playthroughs.
I'm not sure. I've heard that Miraak getting stuck stealing souls can mess with the boss fight, but I don't know if that's true. They shouldn't be related, but I could be wrong. If you're using USSEP and are still getting stuck on the boss fight with or without this mod, let me know.
Vaguely, I recall it being an issue with various Dragon mods. Miraak's spell for stealing souls had like a range issue associated with it and that was (one of?) the issues with the boss fight not progressing. Maybe this was also an issue with the script engine taking a dive. I *think* DCO still has the fix for the dragon absorb soul script that was originally a problem, but I haven't played Skyrim in a few years now... so take this with a hefty grain of salt. Honestly only clicked on this mod because the picture was so damn funny.
Yo I'm not even at a point where I need this patch, I just wanna randomly comment and say how much I appreciate mods like yours. This game is over ten fucking years old. It's officially too old for Libertarians at this point, and people like you are still giving it patches and support. That is so unbelievably cool to me. People like you are why mods for Skyrim are so cool. Not just because of all the crazy stuff you can turn the game into, but also because of the constant support and ingenuity that modders and wizards like yourself bring to solving fundamental flaws in the game.
