Video files were upscaled using the RealSR: Super-Resolution Upscaler algorithm, which can be found here: https://github.com/jixiaozhong/RealSR\
I own none of the files used in the making of this mod, nor do I claim any rights or ownership thereof.
The original source video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1AenlOEXao
Installation:
1: Download and install as normal using your preferred mod manager.
or
2: Download the file. Navigate to "Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Video" and backup the vanilla "BGS_Logo.bik" file if you prefer (in case you want to switch back later for some reason). Navigate back to "Skyrim Special Edition\Data" and extract the file (result should be "Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Video\BGS_Logo.bik").
Troubleshooting:
If you are not seeing any intro sequence at all (not even the Bethesda one), it means one of three things:
- You have set the "sIntroSequence=" line under the [General] section in your skyrim.ini file to be blank.
Solution: This setting should be set to "sIntroSequence=BGS_Logo.bik". I recommend using BethINI for this.
- You have another mod that overrides the above ini setting.
Solution: download the ini fix esl file in the Files section of this mod and ensure it loads later than whatever other mod is responsible for this.
- You have another mod that deletes the BGS_Logo.bik file.
Solution: Ensure this mod is deployed by your mod manager later/after whatever other mod is responsible for the file deletion.
Uninstallation:
1. Uninstall using your preferred mod manager.
or
2. Retrieve the vanilla "BGS_Logo.bik" file you backed up during the manual installation process. Navigate to "Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Video" and replace the modded file with the vanilla one.
or
3. Navigate to "Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Video" and delete the "BGS_Logo.bik" file. Open your Steam library and right-click on "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition". Click on "Properties" and navigate to the "Local Files" section of the newly-opened properties window. Click on "Verify integrity of game files" and Steam will automatically restore the vanilla "BGS_Logo.bik" file, along with any other modified or removed vanilla game files that would come with a fresh game installation.
