First off, cool mod. One of the better voice packs I messed around with for sure, and certainly one of the most expansive. If this is using the same AI software that the other DBVO mods are, then this must be a rather expensive endeavor. So, thank you very much for your time, effort, and funds.
Now, I noticed that the Serana optional file causes problems and, yes, this is the 4.0 one. Looking back through the responses on her, I decided to trim down some of the Fuz files to see if it would work. I did eventually get it to work and I figured that I would post here about how to directly go about it.
First, make sure you place the Serana file separate from the main file and do not merge it through Mo2. Then, find the folder where the Fuz files are located in your files (Mo2 allows you go directly there by right clicking the name and hitting 'open in explorer'). Go into the Sound folder and keep going until you get to the list of Fuz files. Sort them by File Size in descending order and then proceed to delete every file that is 66kb or greater. This is how I was able to get it to work and, assuming there are issues in on optional packs, a similar method should work.
PSA: Optional file for Serana Dialogue Add-on version 3.3.2 (for Vortex)
Like others here, I found the SDA optional file made my game crash on start-up. Following the method suggested by impaledk for SDA version 4.0 (see pinned post), I found this solves the problem for SDA version 3.3.2 and/or for anyone who doesn't use MO2:
1. Download the file manually 2. Unzip it 3. In the unzipped folder, open Sound/DBVO/voicebella 4. Sort the FUZ files there by file size, and delete those which are 66kb or more 5. Zip the entire SDA folder again 6. In Vortex, click on Mods, and install using the "Install from File" tab at the top of the page
Note: I don't currently have a save game with Serana, so I don't know if this will work in-game. I assume it will. I can say, however, that (for me at least) it did stop the game crashing on start-up.
Many, many thanks to Raptor235 for these excellent DBVO files, and to impaledk for the suggestion re the SDA problem.
bella voice DBVO - More Patches - new patches from ZadeL2P I added a patch for the names. If someone needs to add their name, then you can do it yourself from this table by replacing <Alias=Player>. - quick guide.
Bit of a shameless plug but if Raptor doesn't mind...
Just dropping by to let whomever reads this know that you can get updated patches on my page bella voice DBVO - Patch Hub
Has been going for quite a while, and it has over 120 patches all easily installable with a FOMOD, but it looks like some people haven't noticed yet. If you did now then give it a look, you're in for quite a treat. 😽
Hey dude, u got a nice voicepack here. I love it, my only issue is that it sounds really low compared with others and npc, is there any solution to fix it? I have check on Mr. Google but anything good came up :(
Renaming \Sound\DBVO\voicebella folder to \Sound\DBVO\v
&
Edit \DragonbornVoiceOver\voice_packs voicebella_voice_pack.json (Open with N++ or txt file opener) edit "voice_pack_id":"voicebella" to "voice_pack_id":"v"
this was a godsend thank you! i am curious just for the sake of my curiosity what does this actually do? like is this something I have to do for all the patches as well or is it just something in the base line Bella mod thats causing this?
