This mod sounds like what I'm looking for but I seem to be having some sort of issue I can't access the Custom Perk skill tree sitting on the crate and activating the campfire does nothing and then I tried using Custom Skills Menu to access it and it still doesn't open. My other Custom Skills mods work, MO2 and SSEEdit tell me there are no conflicts so does anyone know if this is just doesn't work on the current AE version.
Thanks for the answer Styyxus! I'll just go on the idea that it seems it currently doesn't like version 1.6.1170. I do hope you continue working on this mod and getting that CC's Camping Expansion patch out I think your mod and that one would work quite nice together I very much like the vanilla+ vibe this brings. Thanks for all your modding work!
This sounds so great. I´d love to use it. Could you give me a hint about the incompatibility with CC's Camping Expansion, please? Is it something that can be done in xEdit or are scripts incompatible? Thank you.
I managed to get it working with Simple Camping Storage by extracting the BSA for Simple Camping Storage and copying over the activator records from Skills of Survival. I installed the optional perk points from Ordinator for every 5 levels and now I have camping supplies that return when I break camp combined with a progression system.
I have been waiting for someone to do a custom skill tree like this so thank you! I have suggestions if you don't mind, no pressure of course. I think it would be great if the skill lines would be more clear cut for example: survival (related to camping= warmth in survival mode), cooking/food (i would personally love advancing cooking mechanics) and hunting (all the stuff with animal handling and tracking). Right now the descriptions of the skill lines and the logic is a bit unclear, to me at least. I also wonder if the first skill with stamina regeneration is quite balanced for the early game?
left branch is only survival (warmth, health regen...) right branch is focused on hunting(tracking animals, traps...)
and there are 2 skills that are technically in the middle which are more like utility. i have no idea how i would describe it any better tbh.
i think 50% stamina regen aren't really that much especially since most things in vanilla grant you 100% if i'm not mistaken. also if you take that perk level 1 for example, you miss out on taking a perk that ups your damage. plus there's also the problem that fortify regen below 50% is next to impossible to even notice imo.

nothing in my mod is reliant on a game version as long as CSF works for the used version

hunterborn: maybe, I gotta look cause there are some overlaps afaik
campfire: no, cause the reason I made this mod was that I didn't want to use campfire, but I imagine a patch wouldn't be too hard to make
