so you could essentially turn it into a small underground city, with laborers merchants other NPC's doing things in various parts of the tower, that's what i would like to see.

Yea, that would be cool. Have you tried the mod Coldharbour? It is a vampire city underground like you have said. I have been successful at making merchants in indoor cells. For update 1.02 I have not uploaded it yet. I have added a throne to the pit or main chamber. I will probably start cleaning up the library today and adding good bookshelves. A nav-mesh overhaul of that room. I may add a few NPCs with vanilla hair that tend to light fire and clean. Of course, there are no animations for NPCs to add firewood to fires. I am kinda surprised none of the authors that make animations have made add firewood idles or animations. It could work like chopping firewood, the new chopped log just vanishes over and over. Anyway, I may add a few merchants. I have also worked more on the lighting as I used ELFX and I don't want a light to think about flickering. With anal precision, I want the lighting perfect.

i could have sworn there was an animation for walking with wood piles in hand as NPC's walk them to the fire, but i could be mistaken with the animation of NPC's holding a thing of water, but i wonder if what their holding could be changed to look like it's a pile of wood that their holding?

anyway, it's not the biggest deal breaker to not have that, but i think if this place served as a sort of bustling living space that could function like a small city space with shops people and kids walking or running around and people doing things within the tower that would be cool to see.

i know what's his name in the quest says he's a Mara dude now and no longer affiliated with the deadric prince because he's repentant, perhaps there could be a Mara area of worship within one of the rooms to keep it somewhat lore friendly.

i had an idea like this for that liar's retreat location on the map, it was supposed to be a location for bandits to have a bar until one night some creatures including falmer came and killed and destroyed everything, but my idea was to go to that location and allow the player to finish off the creatures and then rebuild the place as an inn/bar location for your criminal underground, for the bandit gangs within skyrim, but that idea was from a much larger idea that i had to make a large expansive mod involving the bandits as gangs occupying territory that would involve a playstyle to allow you to become a bandit king and to make a criminal underground operation that spanned across the skyrim landscape in various locations.

the mod idea had to do with the idea that when you became a bandit, that you were given an opportunity to challenge the bandit strong hold leaders to gain more territory and influence to essentially overthrow the current bandit king and steal his throne and seat of power and influence in skyrim through your various exploits and connections, and even having some ties to Maven blackbrior and various political leaders to sway your way when it came to your crimes, it would also be related to the thief's guild in some ways, your strongholds would become attacked every once in a while of other bandit gangs trying to steal your territory, which means the goal is also resource related where you could make passive income on mines after taking them, either through purchasing them or stealing them for yourself.

you could be a good bandit king or a bad bandit king.

anyway i'm not a modder myself, but i do have some damn good ideas and an imagination for what could be for a mod idea.

I hear you there. I wish I had more modding experience as I haven't been modding but10 months maybe. I learn new stuff all the time and the stuff I have mastered I can roll it out like a lounge chair on a sunny day. Modding is not really that hard. You just have to make up your mind that you are going to figure out how to do it. You will fail over and over until you get it right and there are some things you just will not be able to do. I have problems with outside street vendors. I just can't make them work. There are other tools required to make a lot of mods that I have but stare open mouth at WTF lol. People do stuff in SSE Edit that I don't know how to do. Maybe 1000 people will look at my mod and 6 or 20 will download it. I am sure they are considered to be junk mods as they could make mods but don't for whatever reason and to them anyone could make these very simple mods.

that's a very good point, and i agree that it is a skill that is acquired through a lot of time and patience and trial and error with the help of other modders and other tools and instruction videos, i'm still a novice at just modding my game with installing them and understanding the process and I've tried to dabble the creation of mods, i can do some very simple things, but not what i want to do, as these things require higher skill and knowledge base in order to figure out.

i remember back when the creation kit was simple to use, but nowadays it's gotten much more complicated difficult to figure out, it used to be easy to install the creation kit through steam, but it seems that doesn't exist anymore as you have to go through bethesda.net or whatever, i don't even use bethesda.net for anything, so why would i go there?

as i said already, i never lack imagination for mod ideas, i just lack the time patience and skill and knowledge base, and i will get frustrated very quickly when i can't figure something out in order to get the job done.
