Sadly, that's a side effect of using the Ear Height slider that can probably only be fixed through manual sculpting :/
You can set that slider to 0 and it should fix the gap, but his ears are going to look a bit too high up on his head. I know it's an annoying little issue, but thankfully it's not super noticeable during gameplay
Thanks! I managed to use the sculpt tab instead to move the ears downwards a bit, thus having a more appropriate ear position without that neck gap, but the ear shape looks a little rough because I can't sculpt for s#*! :(
I don't know how to sculpt properly either haha T_T
I think one thing that should be easier that you might be able to try is exporting his head nif from the RM sculpt tab, loading it into Outfit Studio, then using the much more versatile and easier-to-use sculpting tools from there on his ears. Then you can save the edited nif and apply it to Ivan through the RM Sculpt tab
Hope you find a solution you're happy with and enjoy! :)
Thank you so much for the kind words! Nico and Ivan (or some variation of them) have always been my "must-haves" for different games I've played, and I'm glad you enjoy them <3
I've tried to use both this preset and your updated Nico one, but the meshes seem to be broken without the nif and the dds files That usually come with high poly head presets, could you update the preset to include them for the presets?
Uploaded the NIF and DDS files for both Nico and Ivan for anyone who's experiencing the same issues. :)
Edit: The Nico one went through, but for whatever reason, the Ivan ones were flagged. Let me get in contact with a moderator about it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Highly appreciate it. Since you're using EFM it can cause issues for some people loading the preset without those files. Just something to keep a note of in the future when uploading and I am looking forward to Ivan file getting resolved.
Thank you ❤️ Honestly, I don’t have any plans to make a follower or follower replacer out of him since I think it’s possible with Proteus now (correct me if I’m wrong), but anyone is more than welcome to use my presets to make a mod that does that 😊 Did you have a particular one in mind though?
My understanding is that Proteus doesn't help with replacing follower appearances? I was thinking in vanilla skyrim maybe Marcurio, Onmund, Belrand or Vorstag?
Ah okay, if it's for vanilla I think I could make a simple replacer. Probably for Vorstag since his one-handed and archery skills seem fitting for Ivan as a hunter. I'll need to read up on and practice Kalilie's tutorial on NPC replacement, and I'll share him if I can replace him successfully :)
Haha thanks, I was kinda going for that vibe for him. I have a thing for grumpy-looking cynical bad boys who can take someone out in a matter of seconds 😉

Hopefully the issue with the files will be resolved by tomorrow at the latest.
thanks to your efforts, the bowl of high-quality, male presets will finally be balanced! ) Great job!
Honestly I forgot about him, but he kind of does look similar haha
