Update out. Changed the wrist shape, added BodySlide support (thanks SerNoisy & Dannato), added vanilla gloves adaptation. The only gloves affected are the ones that show skin. If you want to make BodySlide for the gloves (or anything), you're welcome to it, you can DM me and I'll upload the files to the mod with credit to you.
I'm sorry but I've given up on Bodyslide support. I didn't make the files and I had 3 different versions provided for me by different people who know how to make them, and they work for some and not the others. I myself don't use Bodyslide, but the latest version uploaded worked for me in a test, so I left it at that. If it makes it any better (I know it doesn't for Bodyslide users), Bodyslide is packed with Outfit Studio, so you can still have the base hand shape whatever you want if you open the relevant .osp file (a project file) and do everything manually. 📁 CalienteTools 📁 BodySlide 📁 ShapeData 📁 CBBE 📁 SliderSets 📄 CBBE - Hands tweak.osp (1.6 kB) 📄 CBBE 3BA 1st person - Hands tweak.osp (1.6 kB) 📄 SE 3BBB Amazing - Hands tweak.osp (1.6 kB)
Realistically if you want Bodyslide support and more polygons, you should probably use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/90713 It's skinned (moves better in animation) better than default CBBE hands, too.
Hello, not a problem. Sorry, the glovers will have to be adapted. Technically, almost every glove is a hand. There won't be any seams, and no problems, but you will see default CBBE hand shape instead of the ones from this mod.
Thank you so much for this, fixed my left hand looking like it got stung by a bee after trying a bunch of other fixes this seems to be the only thing that actually solved my problem.
Are these supposed to overwrite bodyslide output for CBBE hands? I get that they overwrite CBBE hands in general, not sure what to do with bodyslide though.
pretty easy to make this a slider in Outfit Studio: * Select CBBE Hands in Bodyslide * Click open project in Outfit studio * Add a new slider => Slider -> New Slider * Set new slider to edit mode (🖊️) * Import 'femalehands_1.nif' from this mod => Slider -> Import Slider Data -> import nif * Disable Edit mode * Save project - either overwrite original or save under new location and pack as new mod
SerNoisy, did you post your comment in the wrong place? Did you write this to me? Really need to do so many things in OutfitStudio? o_o Is it possible to simplify this?
Wrong place? I don't know, is there a better place? I have not seen your post before.
Just replacing the source/reference file for the bodyslide hands in ShapeData won't cut it. I tried that - the Wrist slider won't work anymore. I think this is a rather simple solution and you get all the benefits of a slider - including using it as reference to add to existing gloves/gauntlets with outfit studio. Pretty much what OS is made for, I think. (how to guide on GitHub of BS/OS)
Would be cool of course if @Letho0036 could include the slider sets in his mod ;)
SerNoisy, I try your steps, I get the error reading "No mesh found in the .nif file that matches currently selected shape!" when I try to import "femalehands_1.nif" of this mod to a gauntlet of some mod. I don't know where I lost the track, need this so bad for real...
Ah sorry for the confusion with the bodyslide files! I assumed the files from the 'SliderSets' folder would also include the shape keys. I was just able to confirm how the files really are linked together.
Just ss I initially thought, the shape keys are indeed not saved in the .nif files, wich are (in terms of sliders)* really nothing more than the base shape. The 'Slider Sets' are only a description of the sliders for the ui in Bodyslide and the project description for Outfit Studio. The real deal are the .osd files in the 'ShapeData' folder. They include the shape keys (difference from the base shape)
I'll see to updating the sliders for the new shape. @Letho0036 I'll send you another PM when I'm done.
* it might still be possible that other data like bone weights is saved to the nif

Does this mod works for gloves from other mods?

*I use the CBBE Vanilla Shape (looks close to me) with these and Tempered Skins.
* Select CBBE Hands in Bodyslide
* Click open project in Outfit studio
* Add a new slider => Slider -> New Slider
* Set new slider to edit mode (🖊️)
* Import 'femalehands_1.nif' from this mod => Slider -> Import Slider Data -> import nif
* Disable Edit mode
* Save project - either overwrite original or save under new location and pack as new mod
repeat for beast hands and 1.person projects
