I made an orc warrior and was quite disappointed that all voiced-dialouges mods were either seductive or anime styled.
This is more rough on the ears, just as a female warrior should sound like.
As there is no video sample here I will verify that it is indeed just like the description tells you. It gives you a voice of a female-skyrim orc, that is, you will sound like female orcs in the base game.
There is no growling/manly voice which often appears in orcs from other mediums, so your character will still sound like a healthy woman.
I would personally welcome an ever rougher/more dangerous sounding voice, but this is probably the most rough-female voice mod there is, so if you want a serious-sounding female character, this mod is a must have.
Hello NewJerusalem Want to ask you a question about gog, since you using a sse ver of it, do most to all of your mods work fine still in your mod manager ? ( want to switch everything to gog eventually )
Should be just drag and drop to your data folder, then install DBVO 1.0, then go into the MCM, select DBVO, and set my voice pack as the active pack. If you need help on setting up DBVO, head on over to their mod page, or their Discord, both are very helpful.
The creator of DBVO has a pretty good set of tutorials, all you need are 10-20 decent-length voice clips, and you could convert almost any Skyrim voice over and create your own pack. This also goes for other existing voices, but converting a voice already in Skyrim is less legally-gray, I find.
Threw it down at the bottom of a (steadily increasing) long load order and it works perfectly. I'm loving this for my female orc character taking on all that vanilla Requiem has to throw at her. I would personally love to see compatibility files and the like to be uploaded (especially for some of the quest mods) but, given the insane amount of work that probably entails, I am perfectly content to have some of the lines be silent. Great work!
Oh, I didn't realize these things cost money. Well, like I said, it's proving to be a fun playthrough regardless of a few silent lines. Thanks for the work!
