Hello @HeewetSheldon, first of anything, thanks for the mod, looks and feels awesome (en serio esta muy bien hecho) I have a couple of suggestions to include on your next version;
Option to turn off all NPCs, most of us already have a collection of downloaded or replaced NPC we want to see on End of Paradise.
Invite not only residents but also Bards, workers, hunters, miners, shop clerks, wenches, farmers, etc to replace the current NPC positions and behiavors.
Much bigger Inn/Bar/Tavern, I am thinking something like the mod "Traveler's Inn" minus the bathing room
Create an AI package where you can design scouts to be assigned, these scouts will travel Skyrim in small groups, just traveling, cassually seeing them in roads, cities or dungeons exploring can be awesome.
Most are wishfull thinking, i know, not easy to do, but hey, a man can dream about End of Paradise being a little bit more paradisey. Saludos desde Mexico.
Hola!
I have and use the original L'Auberge. I just found this mod and would like to down load it also. Can I have both places even though they use the same name?
Well, I got impatient and thought "what's the worse that can happen?" and even though you replied really fast..., I had already done it. Everything worked until I tried to enter the "new" L'Auberge and the game crashed. Reloaded and went back to L'Auberge and it all worked. All of the followers that I had stored in the original were there, this is the new one with the opening over the pool. Everything works fine. When I went back to Riverwood to check on the original, it was gone, nothing was left, the stables, the horses, the tree, all gone. I thank the nine that I didn't destroy the universe with my impatience. I went snooping around and found the dungeon that you must be working on, then found the back door and entered. Really nice, also found the castle of ___. Also really nice, hope you get a chance to finish them. Thank you for the old and the new.
Glad you enjoy it. I'm working on version III, but I'm going very slow. I have a version with 4 palaces for 160 NPCs in testing that will be part of version III. Nice to greet you and until next time!
Hi Heewetsheldon. I just recently saw your post on not feeling the mood to finish the 3.0. No problem and if I can suggest. Skip the quests. They are just not needed. You already have dungeons and caves so that is really enough. Other mods can do the populating like Genesis mods. Perhaps some good loot at the bottom or end of the location?? I hope you are doing well and I wrote this because I had considered removing your mod since it probably won't get a finish. But even as it is now; I just cannot remove it...It is that good. My own island paradise. Maybe some cheat chests would be nice.
Thank you for your words. There will be version 3.0 and as I have proposed, it will also have missions. I have been testing a version in my game with 4 castles of different styles to be able to house 160 NPCs without the FPS dropping too much inside each shelter. A North and a South Palace are added. In short, it is a variant. The missions are also advanced, only... I wish they did not have errors and that is why they are being fully tested; There is always something to improve. Thank you again.
Hi, I noticed you responded to an earlier post about DynDoLod. I just tried it and there seems to be no effect. When you are outside of the buildings and look around the distance doesn't render right away. Have you made any progress with that? I love the island.
Right now I'm putting off version 3. I don't see that the MOD is worth it for so many and what remains is hard work. As soon as I get my enthusiasm back together, I'll do it! Take it for granted.
First of all, thanks for this mod and Lovers forever. Both mods are are great so far. Just a question about the two living locations. What are the differences, it seems like L"Auberge has the only player room is that the one for the PC? Just trying to figure out who to send where. LOL. Can't wait for 3.0.
Hi, thanks for your words. Both houses are indistinct, nothing changes for the NPCs you host. In my case, I host my favorite followers at VIPParadise and those I don't use as much at L'Aubergue.
In VIP Paradise you have a special house for the player on the roof.
Hi, doing yet another mod list and playthrough, LOL. Are you still working on the quest lines? Getting ready to run DynDolod on it, Wish me luck. And yes endorsed.
Hello!! I'm going slow with that. I've lost my enthusiasm a bit because I thought the MOD was going to be visited and downloaded more... I moved on to other things. I wish you luck! You will surely have it! Greetings.
Well, I already got the SKSE 2.1.1 working. Can npcs be deleted? Children have an option to enable/ disable, but it only makes them disappear for a moment. Is there any way to remove them? Is there a way to remove other npc from the island?
Is there no option to take adopted children there?
Hi! You can eliminate all the NPCs on the island, the Quests have not yet been implemented in version 2. The NPCs that are inside L'Auberge have an option to kick them out; To the children, from the console, type kill and disable. Try to do it when the society of orphaned and hungry children doesn't see you. :)
I have to say this is a great mod. Everything you need on a beautiful island. The npcs look really food, too. It is impresive. Can’t imagine what it takes to put this together. Having said that, my PC can’t handle it. Make me sad cause I really like the mod. Still, keep up the good work.
Thank you very much for your message, it is very encouraging. I'm sorry to read that your PC can't handle it... Do you try hosting fewer NPCs? Up to 20 in each palace (total 40) should work. A greeting and thanks again!
Sarcasmo Off :-D
Ive been looking for years for something like this, enough room to house many followers, with the ability to just invite them. thank you for your work on this
What I am going to say is in no way personal. It is related to the thousands of people who make modifications so that we all have fun.
It is not very motivating that so few recognize the work of making a MOD, which is followed by assistance and maintenance. A job that demands many hours and dedication.
In general, there is little incentive to those who make Skyrim a game that, without MODs, would be forgotten. The vast majority use it without the slightest hint of clicking, a simple click, which would be aimed at encouraging creation. A click that pushes the virtuous wheel towards fun. This is not the first time I have addressed this topic on forums. I have also talked about it with moders who have products that they do not publish because the ingratitude hurts them.
Do you use a MOD that improved your game? Was it useful to you? Did you have fun? And then why don't you say thank you?
The way to say thank you in Nexus is by endorsing the MOD!!
But I want to be fair. I thank those who do care and support and value the work of so many creators who make Skyrim an endless game.
