Default Body - but with your mod, part of the textures is supplied ... ?!
Maybe I'm wrong about something, tell me why and why they were added?

The base mod has textures for the entire body - including the head. However, it's not set up to use your default body, so it always has the same shape when naked, regardless of which body you use, and physics aren't applied to the naked body even if your default body is set up for physics, since it's not using your body. When clothed, they end up with your default body (since a body comes with the clothes, and the base mod does not provide any clothes; it just uses the vanilla clothes or whatever you've replaced the vanilla clothes with), but the textures from any skin you see come from the base mod, since it applies those textures to both the clothed and naked bodies.

This mod changes the esp so that it points to your default body instead of the one provided by the base mod, but it still points to the mod's textures so that the faces still look as intended by the original mod author. The result is that when these NPCs are naked, you get your default body but with the textures supplied by the base mod. Alternatively, this mod could use the default textures for everything but the head, but then you'd end up with a neck seam, potentially with very different color skin on each side of the line.

However, while for most body types, using the textures provided by the base mod is fine, the CBBE SE Special body is supposed to have textures for the labia, but the textures used by the base mod are missing them, making the genitals look wrong if you're using the CBBE SE Special body. So, this mod provides updated versions of those specific textures (grabbed from the current version of Mature Skin, since the base mod seems to be using older versions of those textures which lack the labia). No additional textures are provided for any other body types.

Thank you for the detailed answer and based on it, and if I understood you correctly, I had a thought, but will there be a conflict between the body textures used by the user and the face texture from the Bard mod?

No. Improved Bards puts its files in appropriate subfolders so that nothing is overwritten. Its esp then alters the characters so that they use the textures provided by Improved Bards instead of the default ones and so that their naked bodies are the meshes provided by Improved Bards. The outfits are left as vanilla, so the default body is used for those, but the body with clothes on uses the textures provided by Improved Bards because of the changes in the esp.

Aside from the updates to pass on the changes from USSEP, all that this mod really does is make it so that those characters' naked body slots in the esp point to the default character meshes instead of the Improved Bards meshes. It leaves the esp pointing to the textures added by Improved Bards, so for each character, both the body in the outfit and the naked body point to the Improved Bards textures. This makes the skin look consistent, whereas if I'd done something like make the body use the default textures and leave just the face using the Improved Bards textures, you'd end up with an ugly line on the neck, with the head and body being different colors.

Effectively, Improved Bards makes the bards' clothed body use the Improved Bards textures with the default body, and it makes the naked body use both the Improved Bards meshes and textures. This mod then makes it so that the bards use the default meshes both when they're clothed and naked, and they continue to use Improved Bards' textures both when they're clothed and naked. So, the body and its textures are then consistent.

Where you could run into trouble would be if you used the UNP version of Improved Bards for a CBBE SE-based body, or if you used the CBBE SE version of Improved Bards for a UNP-based body, since CBBE SE and UNP textures are not compatible.
