The final update has been released. All remaining known bugs have been fixed:

    - Old nif format on Blended Road SMIM Patch meshes.
    - Bad uv mapping in Really Blended Roads roadstraight01.nif
    - Wrong alpha property flags in the bridge (Really Blended Roads & SMIM Patch) meshes.

With this, I'm stopping my support of the mod and leave future updates (If there will ever be any) to the original author T4GTR43UM3R.

So I found a little inconsistency/incompatibility with this mod and "Skyrim 2020". I'm gonna also post a similar thread like this to the Skyrim 2020 forums to see if there's anyway this can be cleared up. When you have this mod installed with Skyrim 2020 you get this texture glitch at the beginning path into Whiterun, just nearby the stables:

    https://imgur.com/a/gblyrPE

I turned off Blended Roads and this out of place texture goes away so I'm wondering if Blended Roads just isn't compatible with Skyrim 2020 or if it's something else entirely?

The underlying mesh just needs to be dropped a few ticks. Here's a patch. I usually copy the edit into the blended roads esp.

Not at all. I suspect you have another mod that includes road meshes, and its other features don't work with these road meshes. Maybe ELFX? I don't use it myself because I don't want to go through troubleshooting its conflicts.

ok, i also think it is has to do with another mod. this spot is from the mod "Solitude Docks". I use ELFX but only for Intierors. Seems like something with the mesh is broken. But i dont know how to fix that.

Hello everyone, I'm wondering if someone should shed some light regarding the bridges.
I normally use really blended roads with the real roads smim bridge and it works fine, but for compatibility with touring carriages I'm trying to use the flat blended roads. I've been trying all sorts of smim/blended mesh combinations but keep getting purple borders on the bridge roads. What smim bridge or blended road bridge mesh should I be using, please? Is there a texture I'm missing that should have come with it?
    thankyou

Edit: Never mind, silly me. It was the textures in smim. If you're using the old stonework you may need to transfer the bridge dirt textures from the new style textures over.

Everywhere works except for the snow... I use the Nordic Snow mod. Darn it... Is there anything I can do?

This definitely fixes my ugly snowy road issues, but both the REALLY and non-REALLY flavors seem a *lot* busier than the default roads. Basically the stones are much more visible / less obscured by snow now.

It's an improvement but will take some getting used to. I'm hoping that as a side effect it will make roads more visible on the world map once I re-run xLODGen+DynDOLOD.

Hi, I seem to have some problem with road textures in Whiterun (so far only place I've noticed this, could be elsewhere too) [Update: also outside whiterun where there are rocks beside roads]. The road edges are straight lines that look very unnatural. I'm fairly sure that they're not supposed to look like that. I'm also using Septentrional landscapes, Northern Shores, Noble skyrim, Majestic Mountains and unofficial performance optimized textures. Blended roads is the last texture mod in my load order.

    Anyone have similar issues?

Did you ever figure out what was causing this? I am currently having the same issue. I have blended roads overriding everything that it touches and still havent figured any way to fix it

Anyone knows what is causing the stone roads in snowy areas to be brighter than the snow itself? I'm using Better Dynamic Snow, Majestic Mountains, Fluffy Snow, and this mod. I've set bToggleSparkles to 0 and bEnableProjecteUVDiffuseNormals to 1 in my SkyrimPrefs.ini.

And I tried the compatibility patch, but it seemed like it did nothing. Maybe it was in the wrong place. I used LOOT, so i'm not sure.

      Edit-

I actually re-organized my mods and re-ran DynDolod. So, for future reference if anyone runs into this issue. Here is my mod load order.

      -Majestic Mountains
      -Majestic Mountains Lod Pack
      -Better Dynamic Snow
      -Better Dynamic Majestic Mountains
      -Fluffy Snow
      -Fluffy Snow for Majestic Mountains
      -Blended Roads
      -Blended Roads - Medieval Bridges
      -Blended Roads Redone
-Fluffy Snow - Blended Roads Patch

And my plugins go like this.

      -Better Dynamic Snow.esp
      -MajesticMountains.esp
      -BDS - MM Patch.esp
      -Blended Roads.esp
      -Fluffy Snow - BlendedRoads Patch.esp

Makes sure these settings are like this in SkyrimPrefs.ini

      bEnableProjecteUVDiffuseNormals=1
      bToggleSparkles=0

You are using Majestic Mountains and you haven't enabled the projectdiffuse in your ini.

None of this seems to work for me... Same problem, but im not even using Fluffy Snow. Only thing that helps is disabling Blended Roads completely.

      deadman666zx3,

You're a chad. Followed your install / load order and it finally fixed the ugly rocks and the really blended 3D roads in the snow regions. Thanks!

The pinned comment by MrNeverLost says the final version was released, in december 2019. The changelogs only goes up to v1.6.
The 1.6 version, now in Old files, is labeled as FINAL and has 138mb. The newest version 1.7 has only 54mb.
Do I need to install 1.6 first and then overwrite with 1.7 or do I just need to install the latest version? Why is smaller? If the author could update the chagelog would be useful.

Also, this mod is included with Cathedral Landscapes, but the last version of Cathedral was released before v1.7. In this case (when using Cathedral), do I have to overwrite with 1.7?

Thank you very much for your work.

This is only my guess. There is blended road redone which take texture well. And this blended roads still function the best for road(mapping and etc) mix the both you got Best Bleended roads
