Is this mod dead? I was completely excited until I read the part about how the magic perk tree hasn't been touched yet and the next update was expected 3 years ago :(
so i wanted to try it but i faced two problem : first , some perk in the leveling tree are disabled for rework so i' am wondering if you still working on your mod ?
and something i didn't like at all is the way you can't move the camera when you attack , i don't think thats immersive at all and this is not realistic at all either ( you could say that's a mater of choice , maybe but in reality when you give a strike you are not struk to the same angle for 0.5sec... after the strike the rest of your body still can move and rotate and you can adapt your strike even in the midlle of it . this only change make the combat looking like an old game not funny at all for me) so maybe you could reduce the time the player direction is blocked or make an option to disable this because i think its realy something that not good in practice . anyway thx for your work, hope you will change that because i would like to try more of your mod ;)
Hi there. The enemies seems very weak, even with Legendary Difficulty mod. Or Legendary Difficulty won't work anymore after TGIO? TGIO is last on my load order. Anything that can change the difficulty to nightmare? Thanks.:)
I understand that you have worked very hard on this mod. It sounds really great as well. However, to me (and ONLY me), it seems way too difficult. To get through the tutorial of Helgen I had to enable god mode. Now, this could just be because I suck, but it felt that enemies dealt too much damage. Or it could be the fact that you never give any armor at the start. Also, I find it unimmersive that I cannot take someone's shield off their corpse. I get the armor, that's all cut up, but the shield? Why? I know you spent thousands upon thousands of hours working on this, and it really is a great mod, but it just seems like you made it too difficult to get through Helgen without dying one thousand times. I'm sorry, but that is the way I feel.
No that is completely fair, combat in this mod is really (really) hard on the harder difficulty levels, but never impossible. It takes time to learn. However if you lower the difficulty it becomes more manageable. I do alot of testing to make sure that combat is never impossible. I dont allow enemies that i cannot beat on the hardest difficulty when i test it.
That being said, if its simply not for you, then thats 100% ok. We are different and we like different things :)
The mod is compatible with Live Another Life. So you can start elsewhere than the normal vanilla start at Helgen, which sure gets tiresome with new character builds. Or if you want to stick to Helgen, just sit back and hide and let Hadvar or Ralof and their cronies do all the work. You can literally not lift a finger and just trail in their wake, and do a bait and flee to trigger enemies.
Is this mod still supported? Tried to visit the FAQ page but the link is dead.
I like a lot of this mod but the leveling up is way too fast. I assume this is an unfixable consequence of starting stats all being at 1? For immersion I like a more slow-burn increase in level, have my character slowly build up their skills, and access to relevant perks. With TGIO, I just sneak for the first time and within a minute or so I've leveled up in Sneak like 5 times and now frustratingly I'm leveling up my character again. Yet I can't assign a perk point anywhere, because individually all my skills are still too low. Is this intended?
Leading on from that, is TGIO compatible with any leveling speed mods eg Love Lower Levels, or the one that adds a choose level speed branch to the Speech tree?
I really want to use your mod, but I RP as a Bard. Can you please implement a similar or better speechcraft perk tree like Ordinator for Bard Player Characters?
