I'm having this issue with moonbows where I get this huge blue stripe in the sky as if the texture is missing. Any idea what the cause could be? I unpacked the BSA to make sure nothing was overwriting it, I can't seem to find the source of my problem here.
Your little "hotfix" doesn't do anything. I had to mess around with Rainbows Remade and its addons for a good ten minutes before I managed to make the textureless moonbow disappear, and I'm still not sure that it worked.
There's a no notification patch for initialization but as to if that disabled the horrid "A rainbow appears" message that appears. I want to discover the rainbow on my own time, and have it be a surprise, instead this is the least immersive mod ever.
thank you for your patch ~ it's exactly why i love the community. i didn't do the patch because i want to have the notification as the one in shooting stars, otherwise it's hard for me to notice it.
a problem here is that if the rainbow keeps showing while you are moving, it needs to be rotated so that you can always see a correct rainbow. however, due to the limit of skyrim's engine, rotate the rainbow without wired flickering is impossible. i may find a solution later and fix the problem, but it's not promising
Downloaded 2k version and No Notification patch, follow the steps to see how the Rainbow is, but it appear for 2 seconds, blinks a few times and dissapears :( . I do not think this is supposed to behave.
Would it be possible to get a version of the script that doesn't have any notifications at all (i.e no "the sky clears and the rainbow/moonbow appears")?
Edit: Was easier than I anticipated, went ahead and put out a patch here.
Just running down from Riverwood to Whiterun. I don't know what mod is doing it, but the spray from the falls is pretty heavy all the way to the road to the west of the falls. Any chance you could get your mods to rainbow this? Fond memories of Nevada Falls in Yosemite.
The moonbow appeared for the first time, but appeared to have no texture. I expanded the BSA and confirmed that the moonbow mesh specifies the moonbow texture as the source texture, but there was no moonbow file in the textures folder.(Confirmed in 4K version.) Sorry if the problem is due to my mistake....
Thank you for your remaindings. I removed the moonbow textures in the last version to reduce file size, since they are same to the rainbow textures. But it seems I forget to rename the texture name in the meshes. A hotfix version is uploaded.
I can't understand what you say. You install the main file, then you install the hotfix patch, and MO2 will ask you what you want to do. You just select merge and everything is ok. Why will the hotfix patch take another slot?
Moreover, the load order space usually refers to the 255 limit of esps. But this mod is an ESL-flagged esp which will not count into the limit.

edit: yes it's disappears but can I make the radius further? I only move like 5m away and it disappears :(
:( . I do not think this is supposed to behave.
The rainbow will also disappear if you move for some distance/angles, move back to the original place then the rainbow will appear again
I use NAT weather
为什么我看不到彩虹?是因为天气吗?
