Is there any way to make the cloak a separate object from the cuirass? I'm trying to make it myself to use it with the fluted armor but I can't manage to get it right.
It's complicated, you'll need to "cut" it out from the armor. You can do this with Outfit Studio. Mask the sections you want to keep, then Shape -> Delete Vertices.
Hi. That kind of edit is not allowed by the original author. But you can easily do it for your game with NifSkope, open the mesh file, right click on the scarf -> Block -> Remove branch -> Save and you're good to go.
Hello, Great work on all your mods, I must say when an armor mod comes out I kinda wait 2-3 days to see if you put out an awesome patch making it even better, I use this patch, love it but I get a bunch of diferent versions of it in crafting menus, is this supposed to hapen? I think it has to do with beast race support, any feedback would be welcome! Keep up the good Work! -It Just Works...-
Ohh i see, what Im' geting is doublex versions I suspect it's the hdt-smp patch for the armor I use, because i have helmets that use your patch and others that dont. To be exact I'm geting 3 sets of the light armor and two or the heavy.
Hi. I like your work, but when I installed the replacer bundle for daedric mail, dwarven mail, and steel soldier, it wont activate even though i have those 3 items installed. Do i need all of CC for it to work?
For "Infantry Armor My patches by Xtudo CC Steel Soldier replacer" I understand that I can install that mod alone, without infantry armor 4thunknown and your "my patches by xtudo esl" right?
Work now for the beast race thanks, but after that there is no fix for the beast armor clipping I will try to copy your fix on the meshes that have physics
- Have "Infantry Armor SE" and "Infantry Armor SE - My patches by Xtudo" downloaded and installed. - MANUALLY download "HDT-SMP Infantry Armor Patch" but do NOT install. Extract Files (should have only a meshes folder and 1FS.esp). - Open the folder where your mods are stored and find the folder for "Infantry Armor SE - My patches by Xtudo" (I use MO2 so it would be my modding/MO2 folder). In that folder there is meshes, textures, 1FS.esp and meta.ini. - Copy the meshes folder from "HDT-SMP Infantry Armor Patch" into the "Infantry Armor SE - My patches by Xtudo" folder and have them completely REPLACE Xtudo's meshes folder. - Boom. You now have the patches and HDT-SMP in one mod. I renamed the mod "Infantry Armor SE - My patches by Xtudo with HDT-SMP" in MO2 but it's not required.
Understand that this does NOT keep the beast race compatibility as far as I know (I don't use them) so you'll have to follow Xtudo's fix above if you want that. Also, this is from a guy who uses MO2 and not Vortex but I imagine the fixes are mostly similar. I hope I explained this well enough to where you were able to fix it. Happy modding!
I don't believe this is entirely true. Using this method still leaves gaps in the armour, such as the arm when the gloves are equipped.
You're overwritting the fixed meshes with physics enabled unfixed meshes. Hopefully there will be a compatibility mode made further down the line.
EDIT: Okay so I've figured out how to fix the arm gaps when using the differentt bracers AND keep physics from the HDT-SMP patch. And it's really quite simple.
Firstly you need to open the physics enabled meshes in outfit studio (These will be the different cuirass Nifs). Once imported, and with the actual body mesh selected, you can then paint on new partitions for the 'body' section of the mesh. This is essentially the data in the file that is telling the mesh where to cut off when you equip a hands/gloves item.
Paint the new partition much closer to the wrists and export with references (overwriting the previous nif in the folder) and you'll now have a fixed mesh with physics.

And yes, now there are two versions of full sets available in-game, Iron and Steel. Have fun!
For example, if you character is a female beast race, copy and rename:
"cuirass_H_F_0.nif" (HDT file) -> "cuirass_H_FAK_0.nif"
"cuirass_H_F_1.nif" (HDT file) -> "cuirass_H_FAK_1.nif" for Heavy armor.
"cuirass_L_F_0.nif" (HDT file) -> "cuirass_L_FAK_0.nif"
"cuirass_H_F_1.nif" (HDT file) -> "cuirass_H_FAK_1.nif" for Light armor.
Just add "AK" after F, and the same with males, "AK" after M. It will work, but their necks will clipp now.
I hope this helps.
but it remains to be confirmed
For the moment I will not use physics, I prefer your fix version ^^

now i get to keep your fixes with physics.
