Did you add to an existing save, or "update" from the other version? Because you can't do that if you did...you need a new game start for the V6 version. Your history looks like you went right from v1.0 to 2.0.
Right, so unless IcecreamAssassin and crew majorly changed things between the updated V6 and when I uploaded this file here(only 2 weeks ago) then i'd have to see what changes..but as of uploading here was the current LOTD V6.x version.(V6.8.0)....everything is current.
Sadly doesn't seem to be compatible? I don't know how, doesnt look like the courtyard changed but there's still floating trees. Its easy to disable them except for one which remains persistent and wont go away.
It's alright! For now it's okay to just disable those trees, but there is one you'd have to remove from ssedit since it's an FE. I'd make this work myself if I knew how.
Actually, wait, Magus - If I can delete the clipping and floating trees, making the LOTD entrance free of them all, clean it, ensure it's safe, etc. Would you be willing to upload it here?
Alright - I don't want to flood the replies so this will be the last thing I say but I only struggle with one tree that will not disable. It's reference formID is 002e4e1. My only idea right now is to set the record headers of the others to initially disabled and maybe just bring down this specific tree all the way down the map where it can't be seen? But that's a bit dirty.
Edit : Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can resolve this through xedit. Sorry everyone.
Interesting...I haven't even installed LOTD V6 yet, since I don't have Legacy in my personal setup so its interesting to hear a few ppl say its not compatible and someone saying it is. My only way would be to see for myself, and i'll get around to it soon. If the patch still works then there will be no need to update it. Ofc, if there are trees or flora that are misplaced then OFC i'll patch them.
Keep in mind, this needs to be checked on a bare bones profile...one with ONLY Legacy of the Dragonborn and Blubbo's Solitude installed(and dependencies, if any). So anyone running other stuff in your cities, those will need to be disabled, as well as on a New Game start test(not just a "coc solitudeorigin").
I appreciate the replies here. Will look into it sometime this week.
EDIT: The new LOTD V6 patch is up...the old patch did NOT work on LOTD V6 at all, so users posting trees floating were correct. Its fixed, and now you have both depending which version of Legacy of the Dragonborn you want to use! Enjoy!
Your probably right but I haven't been able to track down exactly why. The only thing I could think of is that I had already disabled and markedfordelete all the other trees in the courtyard except for the one tree on the fountain before running this patch. Your patch worked perfect until the next time I ran the game, then it would crash after about a minute until I disabled the mod in MO2.
Anyway could you share how you moved or disabled that one stubborn tree? Thanks
No I had already marked all the rest for delete before ever finding your patch. Your mod worked perfectly to remove the last tree but again was causing some kind of issue.
Thank you :) It was getting annoying having to disable them every playthrough. I have to do the same for Manny's Christmas Lanterns which adds a giant christmas tree right in front of the stairs up to the museum door. I disable the tree but leave the pretty floating lanterns, tried disabling those once and it took me 2 hours to get all of them. I don't suppose you'd be willing to do that? Numerous people have asked on the mod page but never gets a response. Either way, thank you for this.
For MannyGT's mod? I can try...will need to see what their permissions are, although if its a simple fix patch that requires the use of them it shouldn't be a problem. And yeah I hear ya...I don't disable things in game since they have references the game is looking for and if it can't find could possibly cause issues/CTD/etc. Patching is def the way to go here...and thank you...glad to see its being used and appreciated ;)
Yes that's right, it was ported by toostruus to SE https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21814.
Looking at the permissions this is what is on the page.
Other user's assets; All the assets in this file belong to the author, or are from free-to-use modder's resources
Upload permission; You are not allowed to upload this file to other sites under any circumstances
Modification permission; You must get permission from me before you are allowed to modify my files to improve it
Conversion permission; You are not allowed to convert this file to work on other games under any circumstances
Asset use permission; You must get permission from me before you are allowed to use any of the assets in this file
Asset use permission in mods/files that are being sold; You are not allowed to use assets from this file in any mods/files that are being sold, for money, on Steam Workshop or other platforms
Asset use permission in mods/files that earn donation points You are not allowed to earn Donation Points for your mods if they use my assets
So it looks like they are free to use assets but it still asks for permission. I would do it myself if I knew how but my knowledge of the ck and xedit is very very basic.

I may just have a slightly outdated LOTD or something. I know I have 6.0+ but not specifically 6.8. Can't check just yet but I will let you know
If you do though, lmk....it'll save me time and work.

It’s been a year…you’re also the 1st person to claim this, out of all the downloads.

Also, not a good idea to just mark for delete via the console while also running a patch that fixes said issue.
