I play strictly in VR and have tested a lot of night sky mods as this is one of the parts of the game I love to look at the most when I'm out walking (I have full body trackers, too so literally walk). This is a really beautiful night sky mod that hits the sweet spot of being awe inspiring without being too overdone and distracting. Fine work, endorsed.
I don't understand what happened to your mod my friend, it goes too unnoticed, it is the best mod I saw on the night aspect, combining it with "vivi weaters", "realistic water two", wonders of weater and Masser and seccunda. We have a truly beautiful night environment. I installed it a long time ago in LE and am doing it again in AE.
Great mod. Endorsed! I have tried many other night sky texture mods but this one is the best compromise in my opinion. Most other mods are either way overdone or just a lazy raw hubble space telescope composite (not how the human eye sees the sky at all). This mod seems much closer to how the night sky subjectively looks to me in real life (away from cities). Its beautifully understated, yet still has enough wow factor.
I have used this mod for a good few years now. I have tried a few others, but this by far and away remains THE BEST night sky mod. The 'ENB shimmer' and colours just make this even more awesome!
For me by far the best looking realistic galaxy. It has one flaw though: The bottom right of the skyrimgalaxy.dds has a white milky area on it which can be visible in the nightsky. Probably easy to be solved.
I don't know if this is because of my enb or not but all of the stars are colored bright blues and reds, and whenever I move around it looks like millions of tiny stars show up but go away after a second. this didn't happen with ethereal cosmos so idk honestly.
Maybe it's a bit late for the reply, but I had the same issues. Setting the enbseries.ini entry EnableAnimatedStars to false did the trick.
The stars are still a bit red and blue even after I deinstalled my ENB completely, but I can live with that. These textures are just so much better than the ones from EtherealCosmos.
i'm using enb and had the same problem so i open the skystars.dds in photoshop/gimp then drop the saturation. in-game i lower the star intensity in enb setting. hope this help for anyone reading this
Cool addon even in 2018y. Others looks like colorful festival. But...some strange thing. I see...micro distortion or micro grid on the place (?) where sky is blue (a day). Have 1080p. Use all 3 variants, the same.
LOVE this mod!!!! The attention to detail is amazing I love it. And I LOVE that there's moon phases that go with the calendar. Really great mod. Have I mentioned that I love it!?
