Killmove Paralysis Prevention is a great mod, useful if you have Post-hit Killmove or the newer Kaputt mod.
As the author suggested, a synthesis patcher could be made instead of doing it at runtime.
Well, here it is!
And good news for anyone on AE: it's compatible with all versions of the game (being a Synthesis patcher), and isn't limited to 255 plugins like zEdit etc.
What it does is simple: it patches all magic effects in your modlist that have the MagicParalysis keyword or the Paralysis Archetype, and adds a condition, "Subject.GetPairedAnimation = 0" (a killmove is a paired animation). Just like the original mod.
EXPERIMENTAL:
Upon request, I added an experimental feature to apply that condition to stagger effects (disabled by default).
- First set up Synthesis (install instructions)
- Run Synthesis (through your mod manager if using MO2)
- Open the zip file, and double click on the .synth file (more information here)
- The patcher should be automatically imported to Synthesis
- Run the group in Synthesis
- Profit
