I made a super quick patch for a fellow requiem player from reddit. simply makes Bears of the North Requiemed I decided to publish here for their convenience and maybe others too who don't have the time or knowledge of using xedit. I highly encourage all players to learn xedit for simply patches like this but I understand its a little daunting.

This patch changes records from Bears of the North that were being overwritten by requiem so that bears no longer die too easily and also restores the awesome knockdown mechanic that requiem introduces. Also allows bear races to be spawned in as large the way Bears of the North had them rather than the vanilla medium size that Requiem had them at.
Made for Requiem 5.4.0 but should be compatible with older and newer versions unless Requiem changes more bear records at any point in the future. Also made to be un reliant on cc content so it should work with either the CC version of Requiem or the other.
