Please note that this mod was made by Hacktank. This is merely an SSE conversion of an LE mod.
As I have not made the mod, I am unable to give support on issues.

Does this mod use the script

    htsm_cr_scr_mgefMagickaRateMod.OnUpdate

If so it is causing me script bloat.

Question: Does anyone know how to activate the mod, or what version of Skyrim it is for, since I am not able to activate it in the mod config menu

MCM menu for configuration and more versatility (at a glance)

I'm actually using that mod as I didn't want to use Skyrim Platform anymore for the other alternative on Nexus.

I noticed this one seems um stuttery though? Like the bar doesn't move smoothly like the other mod. Is there any way to fix this?

I would really love the customizability but I'd rather have a smoother bar personally.

As described in the instructions on the front page, you can through the mcm menu adjust the frequency of the update.

In order to play nice with older PC's and modlists with heavy script load, the script is run at a moderate interval. If you adjust the interval in the MCM menu you can achieve a smooth script update.

What would you suggest for it to be smooth? I tried several settings and noticed that it's still "stuttery", not sure how to explain it otherwise.

Worked for me! I'm currently running Skyrim AE 1.6.353.
