I love how beautiful and unique the dunmer look. Can I ask what are the piercing/beads used on their faces like Elynea and Cindiri? I'd love to use them for my Ashlander!
Your faces are hands down the best looking in all of the mods I've seen. You put actual character in their faces instead of making them all look like the same barbie doll face. You have a genuine sense of aesthetics and personality.
That being said, you didn't really understand how NPCs records work, specifically templates. In many cases in all of your face mods you removed the NPC templates I assume because you realized they were overriding your face changes. However, you didn't have to do that. You could have just unticked the "use model/animation" flag. Templates do much more than just visual things, and you can control what an NPC inherits from their template with flags. This is why so many NPCs are naked and can't fight--they're missing that information in their NPC records because they got it from their template. There are even cases where the template was removed by you despite the "model/animation" flag not being ticked anyway. It's like you saw it break one of your changes and decided to take the nuclear option.
The solution is, sadly, to go into sseedit and restore the templates, ticking off "use mode/animation" to allow your changes to take precedence.
It's worth doing, in my opinion. You're very talented and much more so at creating lifelike people than a lot of modders out there. I have never wanted to use female NPC face replacers before because of how plastic literally every other modder makes their NPCs. After I've done some testing, I'd love to publish a fix for your mods, if that would be okay.
EDIT: I initially fucked mine up. It's the "use traits" flag. Oops.
The replacer with the USSEP patch removes facial animation :( Your NPC replacers are the mostunique, realistic yet super gorgeous replacers on the nexus. Unfortunately they are all quite buggy. For anyone who wants to use the USSEP version anyway, here is the way to fix it with SSEdit: Go to the head-parts section and find the universal Head Headpart the NPCs are using. Look at the Headpart closely, you will see that the directory of the TRI is baB\_baAHeads\FemaleHeadRaces.tri The problem is that baB is not a directory used by the mod, instead it is baA! So change that to baA\_baAHeads\FemaleHeadRaces.tri instead! Do the same for the other two entries in the Headpart and animation will be fixed.
This and Dibella's Blessing are easily the best overhauls when it comes to female NPCs, but my one issue with them is that the vampires have human eyes instead of vampire ones. If there could be a version that offers them vampire eyes like in vanilla, it would be perfection!
Best overhauls indeed but I agree that's my only issue too however I'm trying to think lore wise they could be masking themselves to appear normal? I don't know much lore but that's what I'm thinking anyway.
what is the outfit Ildari is wearing in the pictures? For me she has the default outfit but the heartsone is in the wrong place and higher up so it looks weird
