Encountered an issue with bug jars that makes them wig out when trying to view them in the inventory. This mod doesn't seem to be the cause but I don't know where else to put that issue.
Butterflies look awesome, but the ingredients are still way overpowered. I made a couple of paralysis potions worth 10k each in the first 5 hours of a new playthrough by mixing wings from one of the new butterflies (swallowtail) with one of the common mushrooms. It really needs to be tweaked to be useful in a normal playthrough.
Can someone add the alchemy effects each have? Or where can I look this up? Im starting a new run and havent played in forever and was looking to make fortify enchanting potions with blue butterfly wings and snowberries and now i dont know which butterflies are gonna work weel in the ingredients
Sorry to post again so soon, but I've been noticing a lighting inconsistency with the various wing ingredients with only this mod installed. The backside of each wing appears significantly darker than the front side, both when inspecting in the inventory and when dropped.
Image (These are the same exact ingredient, just different sides)
I've played around with different options in the FOMOD, but this seems to persist in each. Is this a potential issue or am I possibly missing something?
We need to take a look. When using certain shaders for the meshes, such things can appear, unfortunately it’s game related so we’re not sure if it can be fixed. Regarding the jars, the ones in game should get replaced, we did not include an option to craft them.
I absolutely love the diversity that this mod brings to butterflies, and can't wait to decorate my humble home with a plethora of varied butterfly jars, only, unless I'm completely missing something, I'm rather unsure of how to go about obtaining all the new butterfly jar variants. I'm aware that in Vanilla, the various bug jars can only be found in certain locations, does this mod replicate that in some way? Or are they perhaps craftable at some type of station?
I'm completely lost, so any guidance on this would be heavily appreciated. Thanks for the awesome mod!
I installed this mod and was surprised how much of a difference it made. The butterflies look so much more real and the reduced size fits so much better for VR. Thanks a lot for this beautiful mod, Rally

happy modding! :)
But must say its one of the best creature environmental mods for what it brings to the ambience.
I would love to see more butterflies/moths added ..
