Hi there. My mod adds higher poly versions of the removabletorch01, removabletorchsconce01 and torchsconce01 meshes. STAC comes with a higher poly mesh for the removabletorch01. So you can simply give STAC priority (have it overwrite my mod) and you will have the benefit of both mods without losing the smoke effect added by STAC
hey, removabletorch01 from STAC is overwritten by Embers XD (with stac patch selected ofc) and it's a low poly version. so if we give STAC priority - we loose Embers flames. if we give this mod priority - we loose smoke. If we give Embers XD priority - we get both fire and smoke. but low poly removabletorch01 =)
It's an issue with Embers XD tbh, not your mod. Just leaving here so people know.
So many variables! I never considered the Embers XD STAC patch version of the torch. If I have some time, I'll see about making a version that does XD flames with STAC smoke. Thanks for the info.
mindflux replied on embers xd issues page that embers low poly stac version will be looked at and fixed. so basically I think once embers updates and fixes the inconsistency - you can just instruct users to remove that mesh from embers xd version of your mod if they are using STAC patch in embers xd. if they use embers without stac - your mesh will still be needed I think. I'll keep an eye on how it unfolds and comment here later.
Thanks for letting me know. The fire and light effects nodes keep being changed. Not difficult to fix, though. Simply replace the mesh nodes from Embers with my higher poly ones but leave the rest of the nodes as is. I'll try to get another update out ASAP.
Hi Andrey. I'm yet to update to the new Embers XD version, so I haven't noticed this myself. I will investigate and update my Embers XD torch accordingly. Thank you for letting me know.
Sorry to hear that. Witch version of the Embers torch are you using, new (default) flame or old flame? I can't remember exactly what it is called in the Fomod.
Good day modders. Just uploaded an updated Embers XD version, which should solve the issues with the latest version of Embers XD. Thanks for bringing the issue to my attention.
Hi there. Turns out that Embers HD already makes use of a higher poly model for the mesh that conflicts. You can simply give Embers HD priority / let it overwrite my mod. Happy modding.
I use Sconce Replacer by Phuscher for the metal wall sconces. Unfortunately it does not support Embers XD out of the box, I had to make my own patch for personal use. I don't have permissions for Sconce Replacer so I can't share my Embers XD version but you can always ask Phuscher if they would be willing to make an Embers XD version.
The flame is added by Embers XD, it's a must have mod for me. You'll need to have the Embers XD Torch Add-on (option in Embers XD FOMOD) installed and then overwrite it with my mod to have it look like my screenshots.

Yes, I really should get on that.
Thanks for the reminder.

I'll be sure to update as well.

I’ll try to test it on my setup tonight
