Great idea. I've often wondered why I couldn't cook food with a quick blast of Flames.

Hope Ican find room for it, my load order is maxed out lol.

Sorry to disappoint you, but there are not flames involved, after all it's the alteration spell. The spell works like Transmute Ore spell, I just copied it and changed the code.

      Yes I understood that : )

Still a great idea and even better if anyone can work out how to make it work on mod added items.

Definitely going to try and fit this in my load order. Excellent addition in games where survival mods have a penalty for eating raw meat.

It is not. One record--the message that says "You have no meat that can be cooked"--has an "invalid Object ID ...  for a light module," according to xEdit. I'm going to see if removing that message impacts functionality much.
Edit: I removed the message, and now xEdit says the spell itself has an invalid Object ID for being included in an esl.

As a side note, the spell only cooks vanilla meats. Patching it for food-adding mods--including CC Fishing--could be difficult because the mod does not use formlists. The Magic Effect involved operates solely via script.

Thanks for the idea. I might consider using formlists in the future.
