As per the sticky in the comments of my most recent mod, Vocaris, I have some new rules for comment threads.
I do not take requests. All magic sounds will be complete in the future, as will hopefully be audio replacers for the various magic mods available on the Nexus.
There are some known bugs with audio mods that are as a result of incorrect or edited sound descriptors. Please use xEdit to check that your installed spell mods do not change descriptors before you comment about inconsistent sound effects. For example, Soul Trap in certain magic / perk mods uses different sound effects than vanilla or ISC, therefore as a result my sounds will not play.
Furthermore, I understand that volume has been a main contention in the comment sections of my mods. I usually make my sounds louder than vanilla on purpose as the intention for these mods is to eventually be pack. I get it, you don't like loud magic. I've previously uploaded versions with slightly reduced volume and they were practically overlooked, so now I've posted versions of Infernorum and Fulminis that are 2 or 3 decibels quieter for the sole purpose of putting to rest these comments. In the future, please keep concerns about volume to a single thread in the comments so I don't have to scroll through 5 different comments complaining about the same thing.
And yes, there's more planned. Restoration is up next :)
Even if my mods are too loud for your preference, this is not an excuse to break Nexus rules and to reupload my entire mod. My permissions are closed for a reason.
If you have a criticism of my mod that you want to tell me you are welcome to say it in the comments; and if I agree then I'll change it. But they're my mods; and if you don't like it you're welcome to change that in your own game but without permissions you're not welcome to share anything that involves my audio files.
shock magic is my absolute favorite because i love the sparkly zappy death. This fits right in my mod list! Love all your replacers! Thank you so much for making these!
I have this overwriting other popular audio overhauls-- and wow. Lightning magic actually sounds threatening and real, not... idk, like purple magic goo. Amazing work.
Will look into it later but the intention is to be louder so don't expect a 1:1 equal volume between this and vanilla. ISC has a magic sound slider too.
I haven't looked into it, but if Vampire Drain uses the same sound descriptors then it will use the same sounds. That isn't something I can control unless I make an esp for this mod.
