I would like to ask a question: Does this upscales *everything*? As in, can i delete both original Bruma bsa and free up almost 3gb of completely overwritten files? Or is it mandatory to keep the original ones? (i do mean only the texture bsa)
The original BSA does not only contain textures (also meshes, scripts and sounds) you should leave it in your folder. The original is mandatory for Bruma to work properly.
Edit: for the raw Textures.bsa, I don't know. I can check that today and give you feedback.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but it appears that when I download this and put it in a priority over the original mod, it still loses the conflicts compared to the original. Since they're both BSA's I had thought higher priority would allow it to win. Is there a step I'm missing or is my install / Mod Organizer borked?
As soon as you don't have any other mod which plugin files are loading after this mod's plugins you should be good. BSAs load according to their respective plugin load order. My Plugin have the original Bruma ESM files marked as master.
Hello. were the pictures you used for examples using the 2k or the 4k textures? also thanks for sharing, i'm sure it was a task uploading such large files.
Could we have clothes, armors and weapons 4k loose files as an optional download, please? 4K for everything is overkill, so the 2K bsa files are perfect, but I still wish to have clothes, armors and weapons at 4K.
You need both or you'll likely get an infinite loading screen.
They're structured like that because of how Bruma's assets were structured (two ba2s for textures). There's no overlap in the files contained in them (BSAR-4K, vs BSBR-4k prefixes). Yeah that means the 4k version is *huge*.

Thank you very much for your attention and for the mod! Bruma definetely can go with some visual upgrades.

downloadsFiles tab shows two identically named downloads, one with 8 embedded resources, the other with 4.Both show embedded files with "4K" as part of their file names in the contents preview popup.
Which is ?the right one? or...what's the difference between them? (aside from the obvious # files)

But also CAO optimizes something, is it expected?
Maybe you forgot mipmaps or something?
