I see terrain problems near to Dragonwood Manor inside of Ebonvale -- there are gaping holes/gaps in the ground instead of the pond/lake that's supposed to be there (as per the videos). I removed all Riverwood mods and loaded an older save, but still see same problem. So I cannot unfortunately use this nice mod, it needs a lot of fixes and patches.
Hello hello, I'm having some conflict with Ulvenwald and Nature of the Wildlands and trees floating in Ebonvale. Wondering if there is maybe a patch for these or if I need to manually remove them?
Masks don't work? Some chests are backwards? The chairs are not facing the right way so the NPCs look silly when they sit on them? Where the hell are the updates?
Are you seriously asking what difference an update would make? This mod was posted back in Feb of 2017, and only had a single update a day after. It's a location mod full of buildings, and apparently 30 NPCs with AI, plus companions. All of that sht uses scripts that haven't been looked on since 2017. There's also sht like dirty plugins, navmeshes, refs, etc etc. Not to mention that nobody make patches for it. Also you can literally see in the description that the author himself said it was a work in progress that required polishing. If it works fine for you then great, have fun. But I been modding this game too long to know that I can't just install any mod in my load order and expect everything to work well. Old mods are always a big risk, especially when anything wrong can make Skyrim crash or stop working properly.
Correct. Sometimes mods are just created and complete never needing attention. But over the past 7 years there have been a lot of mods that are very widely used that would likely cause issues for this kind of mod.
How does it play with Northern Roads? The new AI overhaul? Lux? Ulvenweld or any of the other 10 popular widely used floral and tree overhauls? Those would be the major concerns. The mod itself though was very cool and I used this on one playthrough years ago.
Heads up for anyone downloading in 2024+. This mod is great, but it causes issues with the courier for me. The courier is stuck standing at ebonvale at all times and will never run up to me out in the world. So I recommend skipping this mod unless you are ok with that.
This mod needs an update : hope the OM or someone pick it back up cause it looks very interesting, but all the comments are putting me on hold (and I'm no modder myself ).
I would like to turn down the overly bright light that Ebonvale mod shines on the ground, night and day, around FormID 3A02EED9 CandleLanternwithCandle01 [STAT:0002D847] at RiverwoodBridge [CELL:000096F3]. How can I locate the source of the light, so I can turn it off? It should only have as much light output as the other street lamps leeding up to Ebonvale. Not a big deal, but every time I walk by, it screams cheesy at me. \ [3A] ebonvale.esp \ [19] GRUP Top "WRLD" \ [1] GRUP World Children of Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] \ [2] GRUP Exterior Cell Block 0, -1 \ [0] GRUP Exterior Cell Sub-Block 0, -2 \ [13] GRUP Cell Children of RiverwoodBridge [CELL:000096F3] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 5,-10) \ [0] GRUP Cell Temporary Children of RiverwoodBridge [CELL:000096F3] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 5,-10) \ [13] [REFR:3A02EED9] (places CandleLanternwithCandle01 [STAT:0002D847] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of RiverwoodBridge [CELL:000096F3] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 5,-10)) \ [3] DATA - Position/Rotation \ [0] Position

I wish this nice mod will be updated some day...

It's initial release was in 2013 on Oldrim and it received updates for four years.
How long do you own modders for after they upload a mod?
What does it matter how old it is?
If it works, then what possible difference would an update make?
For the record. This works just fine as it is.
