Every playthrough I agonize on killing Nilsine even to the extent of duplicating her and only taking out the copy but even that can kill Tova. As IMHO Muiri is human trash and the Shatter-shields have endured enough pain already I find that in the last SSE runs I just cannot kill her although I am no Stormcloak sympathizer. This removes the need for the console cheat. So, a thank you!
Personally I would like way around this by somehow fooling the game & Muiri that Nilsen is dead but not hurting her or the family but no mods so far.
Actually, I tried to make a speech condition where you lie to Muiri about killing Nilsine and still get the ring and her as a marriage candidate, but I couldn't seem to get it to work right. Either she didn't give the ring, or somehow Nilsine and her mother still ended up dead. Coding in the CK isn't really my thing, so I'm hoping someone takes this mod over and does something like that
thanks for this, i was just playing through the questline and couldn't find nilsen. but i cant progress due to my collecter nature. just gotta have all the unique items ya know.
