I rarely play werewolf, so I might not know "the one"

Is it where you pounce on the enemy then freeze for a couple seconds before continuing? Because thats the only one I know

That would be great, except that mod also requires 3 additional masters.

This helped a lot. I had the prerequisites already installed and now the freezing is gone. Smooth like butter now, thanks a bunch!

This bug has bothered me for years and I could never tell if it was A: my old Xbox 360 or B: Too many scripts/animations.

    Thank you for this!

Any chance this also resolves the bug where - for whatever reason - after exiting werewolf mode and changing back to the player character, I'm unable to go into first person (stuck in third person)?

I'd try Improved Camera for that. That mod lets you go into first person as a Werewolf, I've never experienced the bug you're describing since using that.

I always thought the bug was because my game had script lag beyond belief. Good riddance.

I have Skyrim AE on three platforms and the bugged werewolf animation has been very annoying throughout several gameplays.

Just the other week I saw that the GOG version of Skyrim AE was on sale and having only used mods via the game's stock loader in the past, I thought I would buy the GOG version and try my hand at a larger range of mods and using Vortex.

Well, I found this Disable Annoying Werewolf Killmove mod and installed it, along with a list of other unrelated mods.

Now to my surprise, the werewolf kill move is still present but it is now smooth as silk - no freezing whatsoever, smooth every time - in and out of animation.

I don't understand how this is happening but I will surely enjoy a smooth werewolf kill-cam now.  AOOOOOOOO......'yall :)

I always wondered, Skyrim modding has come a loooong way with revolutionary mods and animations and that one still unfixable

I think its because werewolves are rarely actually played as, and when they are it's usually for roleplaying and not combat since combat werewolves was always kind of boring.

If you turn into a werewolf then that's just one encounter you don't get to use your cool sword animations

Manbeast (linked in the description) makes werewolves pretty fun to play!

I'm pretty sure Precision Creatures claims to fix it, but also does a whole bunch of other changes alongside it.

Growl is pretty great as well, and even has racial bonuses; for example, Breton werewolves have a shorter cooldown time before they can transform again, Nord werewolves have a stronger version of the Fear howl, Altmer werewolves are less vulnerable to magic when transformed, and so on.

I just looked at the mod you linked in xEdit, and it disables four werewolf animations. This mod only disables one, namely "WerewolfPairedMaulingWithHuman", which is the famously bugged one.

is there a reason no one has ever fixed the killmove bug itself? is it impossible or has no one really cared to?

Beats me, I never looked that deep lol. The reason I made this is I’m using the No Killmoves mod (linked in the description) which seems to disable pretty much every other killmove except for the one I disabled here.

i havent played a werewolf in a bit but is it all werewolf killmoves that are bugged or just the one where you jump on them and slap them silly? i got a mod that removes them all and if its just the one thats bugged i would probably download this instead.

As far as I know, this is the only killmove animation that is outright bugged.
