About this mod

Shield and Great sword bash animation. Mainly made to suit the "parry" function in Elden Parry(by dTry), combine with the Valhalla Combat stun system. But you can still use it as a normal "bash" if you don't mind.

Thanks to the wonderful mod "Elden Parry" created by Dtry. Combine with the Valhalla Combat stun system, I can finally Parry and Execute the enemy in Skyrim. It's feed back, and the slow time effect really burn up my "Dark Souls".

So I create these "bash" and "blockidle" animations for myself, inspired by Dark Souls and Elden Ring. And I decide to share them there.



Attention again, these animations are mainly serve for "Parry", Just like what you did in Dark Souls and Elden Ring. And need to combine with Dtry's mod:  "Elden Parry" and "Valhalla Combat" to gain the full experience.

But it's OK to use it without "Elden Parry" and "Valhalla Combat". What I made are just some .hkx files like other animation mods.

Install 

1. Install normally. 

2. Upload all in one version. Test in vanilla,  impactful blocking ver1.4 and impactful blocking ver1.8. Compatible


2. There are two version: Impactful Blocking(v1.8) version and Vanilla version

If you are using Impactful Blocking v1.8 (Create by ADRI), download and install the Impactful Blocking version.


I actually don't know how Impactful Blocking works but I find that the "fence_bash", "fence" and "PC_fence" animations control the character's bash. So I let my animations overwrite them by using higher DAR order, and it works! 

3. The 2hm bash has extra sound effect, and the screen shake effect. But it need the newest version of Elden Rim. Because the annotations I used to create 2hm bash animation effect are from the jump attack in Elden Rim.)

4. I also made an optional "Dark Souls Shield blockidle animation". To make sure you don't hold your shield like Silver/Balck Knight when using Dark Souls Shield Mods. But I only write the "_conditions.txt" file for "Dark Souls Item Pack by Team TAL.esp". You need to edit it if you use the others.

5. If the animation don't work, check your DAR order. Maybe a higher number DAR folder(with animation and _conditons.txt) overwrite my animations.
