It would be great if.... during the diging was x% chance that dragon will appear XD

As someone who's been transforming the game to be vastly enjoyable without doing the main quest through the use of mods, this is a godsend. Thank you so much for this!

    Alduin: "SLEN TIID V- WHAT?!"

*you digging the grave*: "Yeah sorry bout that bro..."

In seriousness love this concept and I'm going with the other version you have as i already have Atlas Map Markers which adds the Mound markers anyway. Is it possible to have the shovel dig animations brought to that one?

Edit: If its not possible I'll just use this and remove the all the book references and scripts in SSE Edit if its alright?

shovel crafting was a genius idea. I don't know if it exist already or is even possible/worth the time, but this instantly reminded me of fallout new vegas looting graves with a shovel.

and i just have to say, i cant believe i havent used this mod before now. im one of those people who doesnt really play with dragons in their game (or use shouts thanks to witch hunter pack.) the only time i do is if i really WANT to play a dragonborn (which has happened like twice.) and then ill like, go thru all the main story and blah blah. but 90% of the time, i dont even do Dragon Rising (watch tower outside Whiterun) quest so dragons never spawn in my game. generally I just forget about dragonbone/scale weapons/armor cause I couldn't smith it/improve it since, there weren't any dragons. I could have consoled it but meh, there's enough cool mods and stuff I just learned to live without basically. NOW I don't have to so this is really a kinda big gameplay change for me and I'm thankful, ive already got a few to sell. <3

I would however like to make a semi suggestion and idek if it's possible BUT the Master Alteration Ritual quest requires Dragon Heartscales, which you need to do Dragon Rising to gather (since you have to harvest them from a dragon skeleton.) If you could make a specific mound, or maybe even a whole new one somewhere remote to guarantee Dragon Heartscales, this would be a complete light weight dragonless gameplay overhaul. Just a thought, this is AMAZING regardless, I can't express enough how long ive wanted this mod lmao.

I've created an alternate version of this mod that allows crafting of Heart Scales...

awesome, thank you. I think the 1 each per mound is good since they respawn (thank you) they will always be useful and there's a few of them so its not overkill at a low lvl. I use a few of your mods, but this one is really amazing and so simple. hold border banners being another incredibly amazing rather simple mod like, gosh, I love them they add so much. c':

oh by the way, my nephew wanted me to tell you the spriggan and dragon statue (that lil thing you can change,- I like the tree) in seagulls rest is really cool lol.

Would having random odds of causing a dragon to awaken/resurrect adding an element of chance be possible?

Damn, I second this idea. Sounds pretty good, really. Dragons don't die unless you absorb their soul, after all.

Same here, fits great for new RP-throughs concepts. The first thing that popped was, what if it was the desecration of these burial sites what triggered the prophecy. Like the people of Skyrim has always respected and feared these sites but with the latest scarcity of resources and the civil war conflict, digging up these locations has become more and more common. It would also be cool if someone could implement other burial site hunters in the game you'd occasionaly encounter, with scales and bones in their inventory and a shovel in their backs. Great mods are awesome not only because of their additions but for opening up new approaches to the game. Thank you a lot.

I really like this idea a lot. I have a character that's not currently following the main quest. It's kind of a relief not to have dragons popping up everywhere, and it doesn't fit my playthrough either. But I would like to make some dragon items because I have some cool mods that can use the bones. So I think this would be perfect for me.

Edit: I found my first one today. This is perfect!
