Just visited Lurch - he is considered a full/humanoid follower. I made the Orange with purple eyes, and it is a beautiful looking critter. I have a new (crazy) playthrough in mind where an orange talking lizard (using the drunk male voice) will be perfect.
I love all the texture options and the general vibe! I always want a weird little critter for a companion, so more mods similar to this would be a blessing ^o^
Sorry but I just can't figure out how to make a follower without using one of the voices. I stated such in the description *shrug* You're welcome to make your own mod with my texture edits if you want and have permission from 4thUnknown.
so many questions, that are best answered by trying it myself.
I.e. speed when attacking, blocking doorways and interior pathing, etc.
EDIT: Unexpected CTD from Horses for Followers mod. My fault.
Had bought a horse for Lydia earlier, before dismissing her to try a few follower mods, Forgot the horse wasn't specific to Lydia, but to any follower from that point on.
Picked-up Lurch and ran around Falkreath a little, then fast-traveled to Myrwatch to check how she (female sultry) does indoors - and with Myrwatch's interior portal.
No problem indoors, but as soon as we went outside there were TWO horses waiting for us. I didn't even think about it as I mounted my horse, and then saw Lurch move along-side the companion horse => CTD. :)
Got back in the game, exited Myrwatch, ignored the horses, and fast traveled to Solitude stables so we could run - not ride - down to Meridia's temple.
Getting ready to go grab Dawnbreaker, and see how Lurch does in combat.

I can't tell if it is actually attacking things in combat, but it is at least a distraction for my enemies, so that is useful.
Does giving it weapons and armor actually effect it's damage or armor rating?
