Funny suggestion when used with another mods, primarly being the Dev Avezela & Tissendel's Interior.
By placing the Tesseract within its Treasury Room, and tricking its beacon into be placed within Tesseract interior, at the Oblvion look out poin. Altough it Needs some finicking using the Console Commands, disable etc, and initally beacon placement, but results would be like
IE Tesseract hosts the Airhip, walks over plank, Enters Airship, goes to Treasure Room, Enter Tesseract, rinse and repeat, atleast until the Player moves out of the Tesseract, and/or unanchors the Tesseract again, resetting to default
i really like this mod though i did encounter some bugs like
-after beating the dungeon the "waterfall" sound effect continues playing loudly with the only way to get rid of it is to reload the game -books from the bookshelves will go everywhere and the only way to fix it is interacting with the bookshelves which resets their position -when using the gateway/door mechanic sometimes the controls will stop working with the only way to fix it being using the "show on map" feature to fast travel to another which forces the door to load in
i know that this is only really a port but i was wondering if you're ever able to add more stuff to the mod do you have any ideas of what could be added?
i could imagine a sort of location room ,i think it could look pretty neat with the dwarven aesthetic
I use this mod in almost every one of my playthroughs - if it could just get cleaned up a bit I'd love the heck outta you. Or at least let others jump into this project?
Edit: I've really thought about it and there's just a couple of optional files I'd like made for this mod as patches. - An optional patch that removes all furs and animal heads from the house - not very dwemer-like - An optional patch that moves the body you find the "Mysterious Cube" on into the area under Winterhold College instead of being found on a bridge outside Whiterun - A patch that simply removes the challenge dungeon - as if you chose the "gimme the house" option without the pop up window. Or just make the challenge dungeon less crappy XD it needs a significant rework - A temporary patch to hide the pet - the pet needs a fix for better compatibility with follower mods etc. and is just loaded with bugs in general.
Those are interesting just suggestions. I just want to reiterate that original mod author retired from modding Skyrim. This is just a port of the Skyrim LE version and the uploader stated they cannot offer technical support for this mod.
So, I tried contacting ButterscotchCream multiple times over the course of several years - and couldn't get a hold of them. If you are able to do so, please speak with the author about being able to rather authorize people to modify the mod, or at the very least obtain some kind of written authorization for me specifically - I'd very much like to work on this mod.
I can't seem to get the pet to stay or go home. In fact, the only interaction I get is hitting E and then a console msg that says it's following me now, that's it. I've even tried the "set playeranimalcount to 0" in the console to no avail. Guess this guy isn't really flagged as a pet? I've only been playing Skyrim for like 2 months now... yeah yeah yeah, I'm late but meh, details. So if you have a solution, please know I'm a noob to the game... basically but I am computer literate, so there's that I guess LOL
So yeah, if you have a means for me to ditch the pet, that'd be great. Hopefully I don't have to attack it and kill it :/
Oh yeah, thanks in advance <3 :*
EDIT: I just had a thought! I'm going to disable the mod, log in, log out then re-enable the mod and hopefully the lil guy will just respawn back at the house? Wish me luck! lol
EDIT: Okay I did the above and it worked but be warned, you will lose all your stored stuff if you do the above, so remember to pack your stuff up first ;)
