Hi there. Sorry to hear your having issues. The Witcher Horses version of my mod only adds high poly versions of the vanilla nord and imperial saddles that better fit the leaner Witcher horse meshes. Lower poly versions of these saddles come with WH and my mod simply replaces these two meshes with higher poly ones. As long as my mod is not overwritten by any other mod (including WH) it should work.
No, it doesn't. I just tested it too. Your mod is the last in my list and overwrites witcher horse and the saddle but in the game they are still vanilla.
Hi there. It seems to work on my end, I just double checked, this is from my game: Screenshot. This is the load order I used to test: Load Order. Are you using any of the additional patches or optional files from WH? Mine is just a plain install with no extras.
It shouldn't be a problem, but I'll need to get permission from IWantATardis. I'll ask, and if they are OK with it, I'll add a file for Shadowmere Saddle Retexture. Thanks for the suggestion.
No, it is definitely not fluffy. I only adjusted my high poly saddles so that the horse hair does not clip through the saddle. The Nordic saddle included with Fluffworks is actually fluffy, so just do not overwrite that saddle, you can still use my imperial saddle though as it is very similar to the Fluffworks one, just higher poly.
Hi. I do not use Witcher Horses myself, but I believe it should be compatible right out the box. Simply have my mod overwrite WH. It uses the vanilla file structure for its saddles so I can't see why it would not work. Please confirm if I am mistaken and I will have a look. Thanks.
https://imgur.com/a/qTGCaOK I'm actually not sure if it's because of your mod, but I don't have any other horse and saddle mods. (i use retextures for saddle, but I don't think that's the problem) can you check it please? if you don't have this problem, I will look for the problem in other mods
OK, that is definitely my mesh causing that. I'll have to make higher poly versions of the "vanilla" saddles that come with WH. Luckily WH is open permission so making a patch should not be to much of a hassle. I'll add it to my to-do list Thanks for getting back to me, I really appreciate it.
Hi hoangdai94. Not sure exactly what you mean. Do you want fluffy Witcher horses, or do you want Witcher saddles on the Fluffworks horses? Or am I way off track here?
Yeah, that does look a bit odd. Unfortunately, since I play mainly in VR, I do not own the paid for AE DLC so I do not have access to the horse armor meshes and other CC content. Since this is the second AE specific request I've gotten though, I have wish listed it and I'll probably get it when it goes on sale again. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks for this! For my game, I've rounded the metal rings a touch more (without subdividing), and separated the metal parts so I could add an environment map to give them a bit of shine. I'd be happy to send you the file to take a look at in case you'd like to add it as an optional download. No pressure of course, and thanks again for a great mod. Endorsed!
That's brilliant, sounds like some very nice additional touches. I will happily except and share your file. I've been thinking of adding some more refinement and this sounds perfect :D
I somehow mixed up the file names as I was updating both the LE and SE versions at the same time. The file labeled LE is the correct SE file though. I have since corrected my mistake to prevent any confusion.
Just to clarify: The texture visible in the screenshots of the "new" nordic saddle is from Yee Haaaa Horse Saddle Retexture. I make use of it in my load order and thus NifSkope uses its textures when viewing the mesh. It is not included in my download, but highly recommended. My mod is a mesh replacer only. I just added a note to the description page to avoid any misconceptions.

I just uploaded the files for Shadowmere Saddle Retexture.
Enjoy, and thanks again for the suggestion.
Are you sure that "Higher Poly Vanilla Saddles SE for Fluffworks" is really fluffy ? Because I see only one shape in this *.nif. :/
thank you

Just uploaded the Witcher version. These fit the WHE horses a bit better.
Thanks again for the suggestion.

If look at this. You can clearly see the front and back armors aren't barely connected to the horse.

Great mod BTW, this was much needed :)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Love your work, by the way ;)

They look the same.
I just enabled the env map and double sided shader flag, changed the texture paths on a copy of the imperial saddle for Shadowmere's saddle.
Just need a HP cart harness now.

A high poly cart harness sounds like a good idea actually.
I'll look into it.
Thanks for the suggestion :D
