Hello everyone , so I noticed a common eye issue with this replacer. With the help of a another modder ( not sure her nexus name) but she discovered he has no eye Nif so he is not purely stand alone and uses vanilla eye nif file from your game. IF this is edited it may result in eye issues. Thank you lily from discord!
Looks like the solution is actually still a bit of a mystery (I'm Lily from Discord, BTW LOL). I'm pretty OCD when it comes to making replacers work even though I made my own, so I'm still casually investigating this issue. ;) If I come across the cause (and hopefully solution) I'll be sure to post it here, but it's slow going, as I haven't experienced the issue testing him in my own game yet! :O
Oh hey! and ok I look forward to any help , the only thing i could think of doing is asking the original mod author for permission to make a full stand alone version that doesnt need vanilla eyes nif and has his own but im not sure if they are active
I'm not even sure if that would fix it anyway, since we don't know for sure what's causing this yet. It could be the .tri files for the eyes. Or it could be the textures. Or it could be his facegen nif. I really don't know yet. :(
Don't know why but he always loses his eyes after he changes location. After reloading everything works fine. But when he goes through any door, he becomes blind (the same I had with Rumarin, he constantly loses his face, with Auri (the same stuff). I don't know why some replacers don't work. And moving in the end of my load order doesn't help.
Omg this came at just the perfect time! I was just getting back into playing Skyrim and stumbled across your mod tonight while looking for a Caryalind replacer and was so happy to find a Kaidan one too! I have a request, if you don't mind. Would you consider doing an overhaul of Bishop from Skyrim Romance? No pressure, obvi. Thanks for the 2 amazing overhauls!
