Just a reminder everyone, using a script or console command to remove clothes can cause crashes (specifically if you have physics mods, not just jiggle but also hair and armor that moves realistically), and altering your inventory will cause compatibility issues with anything else that adds stuff to your inventory at the start, which is a lot of mods. So:
Script/console command methods = crashes during character creation
Changing inventory method = incompatibility with inventory items
The method used in this mod was chosen for good reason. Since this doesn't rely on scripts or anything, it's probably the most stable. It shouldn't crash your game (and ruin potential progress), and the lack of scripts means it should always work, even for console players if someone ports this. You can definitely use those other methods too, but they come with drawbacks beyond occasionally seeing a naked prisoner.
Also to reiterate: this mod adds no nudity, genitals, etc. and only makes them visible if your character already had them
For users of body mods such as 3BA, where there is a separate preset for nude vs clothed versions, wouldn't hiding the meshes & textures result in the player character remaining in the "clothed" state? And as such, adjusting the sliders would result in a very different look from adjusting the "nude" preset sliders, which is what people actually want to adjust? Or am I missing something?
No it wouldn't, because I actually removed the meshes. When there's no clothing meshes/textures, it shows whatever you're using underneath. It won't display the wrong thing because there's literally nothing to display for prisoner clothes, they basically don't exist (you still wear them, it just can't be seen)
The only way this wouldn't work is if you use a 3BA clothing conversion, and you let those meshes override my meshes here, because since I removed the meshes, overriding this mod will just add them back.
I use a UNPB and HIMBO body, and both work perfectly for me, body physics and all.
With my character set to never nude, the character appears with the correct underwear as expected. However, the CBBE body sliders do not change the appearance as usual. When set set to nude, those same changes are seen and the mod works as described. I get the same results if I go to show racemenu with the console and remove all clothing. It's been frustrating. Tattoos work in either case.
This mod will have underwear if your character's have underwear when they're wearing no armor. So for example, if you have a loincloth when you take off your armor, you will with this mod as well.
This mod does not add any NSFW content. The picture above is censored because the body mods I'm personally using do contain nudity. If your body mods have underwear built in (or you use vanilla bodies), then it's fine.
So in short, it only shows nipples etc. if you install mods that do that.
Thank you very much for the mod. It is crazy to ask for this, but there would be the possibility of making that in addition to nude, I could rotate the body of the character. Every time I try to put a tattoo on my character's back it's torment because I can't see his back.
I'm afraid I can't do that, but there is actually a way to rotate your character. If you have RaceMenu (your UI should look similar to mine in the picture) use the "camera" option, it's at the upper right corner, next to sculpt, presets, and sliders. Hope this helps!
Yes, it removes the mesh and textures for the prisoner clothes themselves, so it affects everything. But it probably won't effect modded clothes. If you had a standalone prisoner clothes mod, that'd still most likely work.
No it is not ESP_FE, since this mod needs to be able to overwrite other mods in your load order to work properly (like if you use a mod that changes clothing meshes or textures, this will need to overwrite any changes to the prisoner clothes). However, mod permissions are open, so if you or someone else wants to make it an ESL file anyway, you're more than welcome to do so.

I used the Zelda preset, but I've altered it and saved over the file, for my personal use.

Are you having the same problems with male bodies too?

Thank you so much for this.
