    1.1 saved as BC7, forgot about it's existence and will be updating my other mods with it as well.

    Option V2 added: Includes all new dirt textures that blend better together and suit the game a bit more imo. Better road texture for those using Blended Roads, no more annoying sticks lol.

    Hello, I'm having this weird bug wich makes me driving crazy, making some darker squares when the texture transition to dirt, happens when the ambient occlusion is on, you know about any way to fix this?
    Everything else is looking fire, this is the only bug so far, keep it up!

    EDIT: I'm dumb, be careful installing https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/80575 if you encounter this bug, remove it and reload cell, enjoy this amazing mod :)

      Looks fine and correct, but you need to have Terrain Blending on(true) in the ENB .ini you have to do this manually and it will look much better with parallax and you can use normal map shadows complex parallax use a different map for terrain.

      And you don't need parallax on rocks for it to work its an ENB postprocess you could say from the ground up were two points contact.

    I am getting spiky terrain after uninstalling a few of MystiriousDawn's parallax textures.
    - I am using MO2
    - I downloaded all of MystiriousDawn's parallax textures, but uninstalled a couple of them I didn't want to use afterwards.
    - Now the areas where I uninstalled the MystiriousDawn's parallax textures have spiky terrain.
    - Turning off parallax terrain in enb works, but I want a lot of the terrain to be parallax still, especially since I am still using some of MystiriousDawn's parallax textures.
    - Prior to installing MystiriousDawn's parallax textures, I had ENB parallax terrain turned on along with Skyland AIO and Skyrim 2020 Parallax by Pfuscher for my textures and did not have spiky terrain.
    - If I reinstall MystiriousDawn's parallax textures I no longer have spiky terrain, but I still don't want a couple of them.  I want those to revert back to my other terrain mod textures.

    Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on what the issue could be?

      Because you have parallax on and removed parallax textures. Now you don't have parallax textures to have a parallax effect.
      If you want to use textures that aren't intended to be used with parallax on then you need to disable parallax. Or create a height map for the textures you want use instead

      And many of the textures are cloned around other maps eg: the Dirt in pic five top row is used around the northern coastline so you need to cover the game, but on the other hand its easy to spot with complex parallax set to true for landscapes. : )

      MystiriousDawn Thanks for the V2 textures they hit the Dragon on the nose they blend in about perfect at my end.

    Having a small problem with textures looking stretched. Wondering if anyone knows a fix and also what could be causing it so I can correct it. Brand new here to the parralax thing. also, here is a screenshot. Thanks in advance!

      You've got some textures that don't have a height map. Not sure where you are at ingame. Make sure all the textures you're using are for parallax or else you get stuff like that.

      For some reason when i only had the parralax textures for dirt it had some problems next to bodies of water. immediately after installing the river stone parralax textures it fixed the problem and looks amazing.

      Yeah when you have terrain parallax on you need all parallax textures.

    Any tips on how to get these parallax textures to show up in VR??  I was able to get those new pelts parallax textures to show up, but for some reason i can get any of these other textures to do parallax, they're just flat.. I have VR Parallax Shader fix installed and seems to be working, any other things I can try to get these textures to show up in VR???

      Terrain parallax is not supported in VR.

    Glad to see you back, hitting some home runs. Good looking mods and textures. Downloaded a few.

    Burnout is real. I hope your creativity remains and modding stays fun. I know when it starts weighing on you and feeling like a job, it's easy to burnout.

    Anyway, glad to see you back. Always nice to have some quality texture artists doing their thing here.

      Oh yeah dude burnout got me a few years ago. Quit playing skyrim all together. Having fun with all the new stuff out now. I gotta catch up on all the new mods out I missed.

      Thanks for your contributions, they're always fire.

      It's cool to see two of best texture artists chatting it up.  It's a struggle to decide what to go with when I'm starting from scratch.  It always comes down to you two.

      There are SO many good texture mods. People ask me what my favorite is and I say, it's whatever fits your load order and style. When you imagine what Skyrim looks like, what mods offer that look to you? Same for function, mechanics and so forth. There is no right answer. That's why variety is so good to have, there's something for everyone. Are you an indie film person, blockbusters, foreign films? Same goes for mods.

      When I started, you had Skyrim Flora Overhaul and Noble....and you liked it.

      I'm grateful for your mods and understand the burnout. I fully uninstalled everything Skyrim a number of months ago as I was tired of the mod grind (over 600 mods in my VR build).

      This weekend I built an i9-13900 rig with a 4090 and that has re-invigorated my interest in Skyrim VR. This rig is unreal - I would never have thought I could run with Cathedral Landscapes, Folkvangr, and Origins of Forest TOGETHER in VR!

      Thanks for your work - I'm having a blast again! :)

    These textures look fantastic
    I am a bit overwhelmed by the many forms of parallax

    For standard static mesh parallax, if you have ENB you just need meshes with proper settings and _p.dds textures

    For terrain parallax you also need to flip an additional flag in your enb ini, correct?

    And then for COMPLEX parallax (which is new?) you need even more ENB config? Do you need to download that Boris configuration mod?

      If you're using ENB all you need to do is go into your ENBseries.ini and make sure
       EnableTerrainParallax=true
      EnableComplexParallax=true

      EnableComplexTerrainParallax=true
      EnableTerrainBlending=true

      there is also other parallax settings there you can enable. save your changes and then terrain parallax will work in your game. You might need to clear your enbcache. You don't need the file from nexus as it's already apart of the current binaries.

      If you are not using ENB then you would need some mods in order to enable it, like Shader parallax fix or Vanilla POM. If you're using ENB you don't need those mods

    Quixel textures' normal maps are OpenGL format while Skyrim uses DirectX normal maps. You can easily convert them to DirectX by inverting the green channel of the normal maps.
