there is something I'm not sure if it is a bug. My guess so far is it may be intended, but would like to double-check with you.
xEdit reported the following as potential issues for the plugin:
I've never seen this type of xEdit warning before. My guess (if this is intended) is that this distributes different sets of textures. Can you confirm if this is indeed what it does?
I've not seen this type of error before - it won't be coming from my ESP, but from the original mod itself. I mention this because my ESP does not make any changes to the original armours, nor is any data copied over as an override.
That error seems to indicate, for some reason, that the references in the outfit are pointing to TXST formIDs instead of ARMO formIDs. This isn't the case in my ESP though.
Do you have any other installed mods making changes to LunarGuardArmor.esp, or another mod overwriting it? Assumption is another mod is replacing the ESP and has renumbered formIDs.
hey man, can you spid https://www.daymarrworkshop.com/home/categories/hdt-smp https://www.rektasmarket.com/home/categories/with-smp-cloth Please!!? Would you do it for $?
Can I install both your mod and "Khajiit Has Wears"? I like features of both mods and don't want to pick one. And is it necessary to delete entries in .INI files to make them compatible?
Unfortunately between this plugin and my moon monk robes plugin, you'll encounter a lot of overlap if using them with KhajiitHazWears, so it wouldn't be a drop in & play.
KhajiitHazWears doesn't modify the original .esp files, so you might be able to get away with running the two at the same time.
What you can do is pick Khajiit Has Wears, or both of my plugins, and then you can use whichever one you prefer as a "base" -- and then you can modify the .ini files to cover what you want them to cover.
My plugins, for example, have references to all of the outfits - so you can use those references (if you use my plugins), copying them and then adding whichever characters you want (using the other examples in _named as a basis). At least originally, my plugins covered more NPCs than KhajiitHazWears (if only due to the nature of my approach), but that may not be desired.
Another approach is my plugins with this patch by the KhajiitHazWears author if you wanted Lunar Guard Armor + Moon Monk Robes + Apex, for example - but you'd still need to do a little ini tweaking.
To be quite honest, I somehow managed to miss that one! Very much an unintentional overlap.
However, there are some differences:
This Plugin has a 50% chance of distributing helmets to generic non-named NPCs, such as Bandits, when they receive the outfit
This Plugin distributes to bandits, with weighting based on the weapon type they use and whether or not they are a boss-type bandit
This Plugin also uses my standardized core configs, which also means native Requiem support
Support for Inigo and Interesting NPCs as of 1.0.5
The linked SPID patch also appears to have some issues - with the way the author has configured their distribution, it won't distribute to Kharjo or Khayla (unless this oddity has since been fixed with SPID).
They also reference non-existent keywords (RaceKhajiit and TypeBandit), which will result in failure to distribute to bandits. So to summarize, that patch will likely only distribute to Dromarash.
In theory yeah, should be able to use both - my plugin covers the same, and more, so it doesn't matter either way, though it should be possible to remove the other one without any issues (due to how SPID works) if you want to switch over.
Unless you're using the weapons module they provide, then that differs in functionality and requires other mods, but even that module should work fine in conjunction (the wonders and joy of SPID).
Fair point, SPID 6.3 is meant to spawn the outfits as NPCs get loaded, but if you have an existing NPC who was assigned an outfit, they'll have a broken outfit reference associated -- and I'm not sure how it will behave.
In theory you might be fine to remove the esp, as they should be re-assigned a new outfit when you next enter a cell with them or load a save near them, but I'd suggest saving before you test, and confirm Dromarash isn't naked (which is the possible result here). Otherwise as mentioned, you should also be OK to have both loaded.
