I said there was a patch for the iBeasts 3DNPC patch when I meant there was a patch for the Project ja-Kha'jay 3DNPC patch. My bad lol. The iBeasts 3DNPC patch doesn't even add any races, so it wouldn't need a patch anyways.
Hi there! I saw you added DBM_PretorianRace to SteamCenturion, but isn't that creature using the skeleton and animation from a Flame Atronach? Wouldn't that cause issues?
Hmmm let me check. Sorry I didn't respond till now, it's been a while since I messed with my mods because I need to either switch to ReShade or move everything to my SSD to reduce lag and I've been avoiding it by avoiding mods as a whole lol.
Okay, so its body part data is "DwarvenSteamCenturionBodyPartData", which would be why I assigned it to what I did. But it IS actually using the atronach skeleton, which is bizarre. So I guess it probably shouldn't be assigned to the Dwemer Centurion category? I don't know for sure, but I'll update it to not assign the Pretorian just in case.
These inis just assign which killmoves work on which creatures based on their skeletons. It has nothing to do with weapon type, unfortunately.
That sounds like an issue with either:
Your load order
An incompatibility between Valhalla Combat and one of your other mods
One of your animation mods or Valhalla Combat being out of date
Your Nemesis and/or FNIS engines needing to be rerun, if you use them
A bug with Valhalla Combat itself
I would recommend the following to try and fix it (I have no clue how knowledgeable or not you are, so I'll explain this in simple terms):
Checking for any reports on Valhalla's bug tracker first (don't post one yourself if you don't know for sure that Valhalla Combat is the issue)
Have your mod manager scan your mods for updates to make sure nothing's out-of-date, update anything that is (as long as it's safe to update on an existing save)
Update and re-patch Nemesis and FNIS, if you use them
Check the pages of any combat and animation mods you use for incompatibility warnings
In xEdit, check for conflicts between Valhalla Combat and other mods that can be resolved by changing load order (but mind the Rule of One!)
For conflicts that cannot be solved by changing load order, search Nexus for a patch, or make your own (for example, if one mod makes a basket bigger and another mod assigns it a sound effect, the patch would simply both make the basket bigger and change its sound effect. This circumvents the Rule of One).
