This mod looks very nice, but it has one single fatal flaw.: It makes massive landscape changes near the neck between Whiterun and Riverwood where Ebonvale Settlement and Legend of the Eagle's Nest are positioned. Given that this mod is on the other side of the map, there is no need for such widespread changes. Removed from my load order until fixed. Shame, really.
This is intentional - I created a temporary base to store things and act as an early in the game player home until the character was more developed and had graduated to a real player home or to the main house in the mod. My attempts at keeping things organic to the game play never really worked. If I ever get the time and update this mod I would take out this part since I don't think anyone uses it.
Did you ever remove this unneeded edit to the landscape near Whiterun? Because mdzukunft is right, you shouldn't be changing things halfway across the map and not telling people you did this in the mods description. Until you fix this issue I will not be downloading the mod. It is a shame because your player home looks awesome! If you remove this little error I will definitely endorse this wonderful player home!
Is that temporary base a part of the mod? Cause if so that'd be cool, I do the same as you. Just wondering, not asking for it to be added in or anything, i love this house, you did a really great job with it.
EDIT: Nevermind I was too lazy to read the entire description, but I just did and saw about the chest at the camp. Thanks!
does anyone know what happened to this mod on xbox? i’ve been looking for it for forever and when i finally remembered the name of it i find out it’s been removed. kinda bummed because it’s one of my favorite player home mods.
This was available on Bethesda.Net for Xbox. Since the drop of SE it has disappeared. I have 3 different character files that depend on this mod. If the author or anyone is capable of porting this that would be awesome!! Thanks in advance.
Overall, great mod and beautifully done. I do have a few complaints though that I hope you will take under consideration. First, why not add a garden? There’s space for it next to the house and it would be extremely useful. Second, I appreciate the Oghma Infinium stand but the book disappears after its used. I’m sure some people asked to have it, but i feel maybe a toggle for the stand would be good. Finally, I’ve run into a few bugs on Xbox One. First off, when I downloaded the mod, satchels in my hearthfire homes became unusable. I figured this is a strange mod interaction but I messed with the load order a lot and got no changes. Secondly, I’ve also had trouble with the Arch-Mage robes as they won’t always place on the pedestal. And lastly ( and this one is minor), the blue on the display cases. I know this is something you’re aware of, but is there any way to work around it. I know it’s USSEP, but there’s gotta be a fix on either your part or theirs (I’ve already reported it as a problem for USSEP too). Other than those small things, it’s a really great mod and one of the best player houses out there in my opinion. Well done
This is honestly my favourite house!! The decor is perfect and it's cozy without being cluttered. The customizeable trophies are really cool as well!!
There is one small problem that keeps me from completely enjoying it however--after a few days of adventuring and being away from the home, the mannequins will reset and unequip all of their armor. It stays in their inventory though. I think the solution to this problem is to set the cell to a "no reset zone." while googling the problem and seeing if there was a console command fix, I found this in the Nexus forums by Jokerine:
"I opened the CK to check... If you navigate to the "interior data" tab, you'll see the name of the cell, and right under it, the "encounter zone" tab. Change that to "NoResetZone", and click apply, then OK."
If you make this small change, I would be overjoyed!! I spend a lot of time into making sure the outfits are perfect and then they just reset. :( Once this is done, I can post pics to the page!!
The cell should be set to be a no reset zone but I should probably pull up the mod in the CK and recheck everything. I have kind of stepped away from the mod honestly, since I never have time. I would say that the mannequins in Skyrim are pretty buggy anyway.
this house is wonderful... nothing to say... but my attention is put down to the box of the dragon scroll that doesn't work... i resolved all missions with the three scrolls and now i can dedicate at the conflict war with imperials and storm cloaks. but 20 kilo they are much! expecially with light armour! how can i do? thank you so much for your kind attention.
Is there anyway this can be ported to Xbox?? I've been looking for a house mod like this for awhile! Every pretty house doesn't have the artifact displays/black books/paragons etc and the ones that do and are in such plain boring sights...
I don't have an X-Box and I haven't really used Bethesda.Net. Anyone wanting to port it over is free to do so - just give me credit for the original mod.
