I also found another bug. When I sprinted with a one-handed weapon, my other hand was swinging wildly. I think this was caused by two animations playing at the same time. The normal sprint animation was used with the free hand. I think these two bugs are similar, do you have any suggestions for solving this problem? Thank you so much
This is OAR conditions conflict. You have two animations playing at the same time. Open animation log to see which animations are playing, and then decide which one will take priority by adjusting conditions.
Thank you so much for this! Solved the issue on my end not with your file specifically, but because its existence and your replies to some of the comments below that granted me useful insights. ❤️
Worked perfectly for torches like the tittle mentions with my modded Skyrim, but the issue persists with dual spells while sprinting, possible to do this for spells as well ? It'll be much appreciated !
This is an issue with incorrectly designed mods, or incompatibility. Open OAR debugging menu and check what animations are playing. Only one should play, but if footsteps are doubled two will play. Then you can see what is going on and condition out incorrect animation.
I'm trying to fix this animation https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/82603?tab=description I managed to edit it, but nothing has changed
Problem is, when I drag the animation file needing to be edited into the dump.bat, i get the text file but its completely blank, rendering this whole endeavor useless.
So I'm a bit confused. BTW thanks for the reply. So the file I downloaded on this site is NOT the tool kit (program) needed to edit the animation files? I followed the download link. I guess I need permission to access the google drive. Anyways I followed This Video, but the guy did a crappy job in my opinion explaining things. i.e. TELL ME WHERE TO INSTALL THE FILES! My setup did not look like his because he's using a german version of windows. I may go back and try again but for someone who's versed in CK, Nifskope, SSEdit and Gimp. The tutorial was just garbage. Or am I just looking at the wrong video?
I didn't use the guide and I have set it up long time ago, so I'm not sure. As long as you have correctly installed havok content tools it should work fine.
the Hkanno64 Nexus page I download the file there. Its then telling me i need to download something from google drive, a 64 bit version? and that I need to get permission, (haven't been able to get that). Someone in the comments section of the Hkanno64's nexus page says I can download it here instead of doing the google drive thing.
I install the entire package, but its saying that I'm missing tools from other programs like "Maya Modules" and other sources. Anyways I'm lost at this point. I'm not even sure I have the right program to even begin. Why not just host the files needed here?
I'm using the 64 bit version (since its SE) I see that this softpedia site also gives the option to download the exact 32 bit version you just posted. So I assume thats the correct file. But something is missing because there are TWO Things that need to be put together. The "hkanno64 Animation Annotation Tools for Skyrim SE" and the "Havok Content Tools"
But what is NOT explained is what to merge where. I'm pretty sure the issue is a that one or more files are NOT where they are supposed to be so when running the .bat(s), the text generation fails because one or more files are not where they are supposed to be.
Update: Reading through the comments section of Hkanno64's nexus someone posted:
"Everything in the hkanno64 folder needs to stay together. The person who wrote the guide said only drag the exe into the HK folder. this is incorrect, you need to drag pretty much everything from the hkanno64 folder into the HK folder. Honestly I think I'm just going to repaste the instructions with the correct info."
Now its generating actual information in the anno.txt file.

Sorry to keep asking.
I have 2010.2.0.1 32 bit and it works fine.
