This is a small update to existing version, same version released on xbox - the 1b version contain all updates and corrections of effects so no need to download the update and optional file - Correct an issue with dawnbreaker not showing effect - small corrections of few effects
I am testing enb light with latest version, i was able to make it work on one of the weapon so i guess it will get easier from now to cover all the rest of effects. Only trouble i don't have much time in this period, work is a lot and when i have a bit of free time i like to spend it not in front of pc ( it is summer also in FInland and don't worry is usually short ), also you know Diablo 4 is out so i need my dirty pleasure time!
VaDoncChier dropped a patch for VAE2 and other mods like Summermyst Vae2 patches please relate to him if you have any troubles with it and drop endorse to him for the work!
I have to write this cause i see many of you are reporting issues that was explained in the description i hope here you will read before reporting things of common sense in modding
- THIS MOD IS PURELY VISUAL it is not changing any effects or enchant effect - THIS MOD COVER ONLY VANILLA ENCHANTS, every other enchant or effect added by mods need a patch ( there is a link to some patches down below ) - IT IS EXPLAIN ABOUT THE ISSUE OF ENCHANTING WEAPONS ON ENCHANT TABLE, the engine of the game does not recognise the multiple meshes of VAE2 for every weapons and it will apply the "dagger effect" cause in Vanilla is set like that, it will probably need a complex script to it and it is out of my knownledge - MULTIPLE EFFECTS ( CHAOS OR DOUBLE EFFECT) VAE2 USE PART OF VIBRANTS WEAPONS, this means all vanilla enchants weapons with Chaos or double effect are covered, but it will not work VISUALLY on the weapons you enchanted at the enchant table cause of the issue explained before Still the double effect values of your enchant weapon will work but will SHOW only one effect. - IF YOU ARE USING OTHER MODS that chance the values or add values to enxchants or add enchants it MAYBE POSSIBLE that this affect also VAE2 , so before reporting something like effect not showing or not working check your load order
- WHEN REPORTING ANY ISSUE please ADD a SCREENSHOT OR MORE about the report so it can be easier to try to figure out the problem
Just a little announcement, i am working slowly to a new project with the help of Jg1 to create a cross over between VAE and Vibrant Weapons At moment i am at 70-80% of completing it. in the middle of it i am moving to different apartment and also work so be patient.
Basically: vibrant system will cover ALL normal weapons enchants, VAE will cover the unique weapons It will be based on the scripted version of VW cause at moment it is more stable I hope to release a first version in a month. you can write here which combination of effects you use more or would like to see ( that is not already covered by Vibrant Weapons) cause as you can imagine combinations are ALOT and that will take time
may have a problem with the CGO? since it seems that the visual of the combat axes looks a bit strange, because the fire effect is in the middle of the handle
Would it be possible to add some sort of MCM menu, so we can select the enchantment effect we want for our weapons? Like from enchanted arsenal https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/37318 Sadly that mod no longer works, so it would be amazing if you could add one for this mod
I seem to have an issue where i can see the whole enchantment in first person, but in third person the "aura" effect, ie. the blue clouds coming off of the drain magika enchantment, are no longer there.
Like your mod so much. And I have a great plan about VAE, like create a version have both VAE1&VAE2 effect, at the meantime use SkyPaycher to maintain maximum compatibility. Can I have your permission to do so? This "ultimate" version will not include your mod's assets and you will be credit ( VAE1&2 will still as hard requirement) but have a new esp to maintain compatibility.
i know jg1, we have been sharing few messages to how make our two mods to work together, but they work different ways!! Jg1 created an amount of different weapons ( that stand for left or right weapon ) this is reason he can easly have two different effects visually on weapon and new effects visually when you create them ( but he covers only fire,ice, and lightning ), his mods also use dll and scripts. Vae2 use same visual effects but related to how vanilla enchant system is but the only trouble of creating weapons without use of scripts or dll, some how something is missing yet in Vae2 as Vibrant weapons

i have tried to cover any possible questions so i don't have to repeat myself on answering to same questions
About patches, it is possible that mods that add new enchantments and don't use vanilla assets may need a new patch to match VAE2
