    Mod worked fine until recently. I can no longer access any container governed by the fish nor use any linked workstations. No idea what's going on. It worked fine before, no I can't access any of my items. There is the usual click sound when you press activate, but nothing happens, and this is on every container and every linked workstation. Its like there is no script for them. I can use the fish on a new container and that one works, but any of my old ones, the ones that contain my entire playthrough's worth of loot, don't do anything. 

    I cannot see a settings menu for this. Is there a way to reset all the boxes, or scripts or storage AI? Any way to troubleshoot in game? 
    I'd be loathed to have to abandon this playthrough due to this. :(

      I found that it was related to a mod added player home with specific item storage. I tried it in a vanilla home, such as the hearthfire homes, and it worked fine. I think some of the mod added storage containers are set up in a different way which breaks with this mod.

    Works as well as it always has, a must-have mod in my opinion. I cannot use Elysium (a player home) without it. Imagine actually retrieving your alchemy or smithing ingredients yourself. What am I, a peasant?

    I would like to note however that the quest Diplomatic Immunity where all your gear is forcibly taken has resulted in a catastrophic failure for me, as I could no longer get the fish once Delphine took it (a pop up showed up as if I had put the fish in a container myself - I selected "no"), and any spawned in with commands would not work. Moreover, something definitely broke since containers became mostly useless and other scripts around my home broke, like the display walls in Elysium's basement. As I'm using a bunch of mods I don't want to chalk it up to this mod specifically or say you shouldn't use it, that said I was forced to use console commands to finish the quest since the removal of my gear triggered it.

    If anyone else has encountered this I hope this helps.

    I created a list, but the "save all" function tells me that the list is empty, I checked the list again and there are many of my items there

    I am new at modding and I really love your mod "Automatic Item Storage" that I used during crafting at crafting tables. It makes it so much easier to transfer ingredients. The only issue is that my Ingredient list is 700+ different items type due to all the mods that I installed that add their own ingredients. So would it be possible that I create an updated version of your mod script to support 768 max different types of ingredients in the list of ingredients that can get transferred ?

    Does this allow similar containers to be linked?  For example, say I set up a container for ammunition in house A and want a similar container in house B.  I know I can export and import the lists but what I'm looking for is a way to have the ammunition containers in both houses be linked so that they share an inventory.  Basically, be able to access the arrows and bolts in either house.

    For those who had the fish forcefully removed and now can't use the mod, try the following:
    1. Open console and rune "save funclist 1", it should save some files into the your save directory
    2. Go to your save directory and open the "funclist.ess.txt" file
    3. Look for the "Auto Storage Fish", it should only has single instance, if you have more than 1, you spawned those in yourself and need to be removed
    4. To the left of "Auto Storage Fish", the first column should contain the reference id XXXXXXXX (mine was FF002718), note this down
    5. Back in game run "prid XXXXXXXX" (in my case it was prid FF002718) to select this reference
    6. Then run "AddToContainer player" and it should appear back in your inventory again
    7. You can delete the files created in the first step afterward

    Im having an issue were my container names disappear when looking at them in first person. I assume it has something to do with quickloot as when I disable it it solves the problem but I know it is possible to get it working as of the post below any advice would be greatly appreciated

    After storing items in any automatic container, the popup window which shows the container name when you mouseover it is gone (only in 1st person though). Is that a bug or some incompatibility?

    If anyone like me wondering – this mod does work in VR, albeit with some caveats. It tries to give you some nonsensical fish-related message in VR playroom, which can lock you out of advancing to the actual game. VR playroom start seem to also prevent mods scripts from starting properly. You do not get a fish, and even if you additem one to your character, it will not work. So far, disabling VR playroom resolved this issues for me. The second problem is, linking storage do not automatically take their content out of your inventory after you're done crafting. One of the bug reports contain instruction for haw to solve it, but it requires basic programming knowledge and script recompilation. Alternatively, it is possible to simply keep crafting material storage close to the crafting station, and deposit item to it with “Store All” function.

    I considered using General Stores, but it still does not support Ordinator, which is deal-breaker for me.

    At the end of my rope here, been using the mod for years now and rarely if ever had issues and they were easily solved. This time however the mod has broken spectacularly, had my whole inventory taken from me doing some quests one was a mod, after which no issues on my end, the other was getting stuck in Cidhna mine doing the forsworn quest, had the pop up fire off of it getting the fish plopped back into my inventory since it can't be taken go through and finish the quest go back to my character's home and suddenly the whole system stops working I can't bring up the menu to deposit items in or do anything with the mod, think okay thats odd but whatever i'll just readd the container and get told I am some how at the limit of containers even though i've only ever put the fish in maybe 10 total ever and when I moved houses I just removed sorting from my old containers so I should have no more than like 5 running. So now the mod is telling me I am at the limit and I cannot remove sorting from any container. I also tried clean saving to see if that would solve the issue, I can't stop the mod's script since I have no access to the menu which i know isn't great but theres nothing I can do that I am aware of. Loading the now clean save I can no longer open the containers I had things in at all. I can press the activate button on them all I want and I get nothing. Kind of makes me wish the mod had an MCM or other way of disabling the script, anyone got a way to help me? Got to be some console command I can use to stop the script.

      I'm no expert but maybe a save game script cleaner might help?
