I cannot overstate how happy this mod makes me every time I see the shellbug just chilling in the fort. I love it. Please could you advise me on how I could add one near Windstad Manor?
Members of the Dawnguard and Serana won't idly mine the thing, will they? I once had to stop Serana from killing one of these things, so I don't particularly want to risk that.
I haven't seen any NPCs whacking away at our poor Dawnshell here, but I don't think NPCs have the ability to deplete mine veins to begin with. The only one who could kill this little shellbug would be the player themselves via over-mining, but if that happens the shellbug should respawn after the cell resets.
If there's enough requests I'd be happy to update with a separate version where the option to mine the shellbug was removed.
Ah good. Now I can install this mid-way through my next playthrough and pretend I have to explain to Isran why there is a several ton docile insect sitting in the fort.
