I'm more annoyed that Orc equipment is worse than Dwarven equipment. It's heavier, does less damage (even less damage than Elven & Glass) & sells for a lot less compared to Dwarven or Elf based items, making it obsolete & a wasted investment for Heavy Armor users or those who want to create a "lore friendly" Orc that only uses Orc equipment ... Might as well stick with Steel & then Sky-Forge Steel
Sorry, haven't checked my comments in AGES. I would have really abandoned this if it hadn't been for the new Anniversary Edition content convincing me to do another Skyrim playthrough. Anyway...
I didn't make an option where I used the greener colors for two reasons. First, the ones that were greener also seem to have been run through a lazy tint filter by a dev, and it tinted the entire weapons, leather straps included. As a result, the leather looks really wrong (sickly greenish-yellow), which is why I went with the darker version. That seems to be the coloration that was "intended". Finally, it was a vast minority or weapons that were tinted this way, and if I were to shift all the weapons and armor back to that lighter green, it would be days worth of work instead of the single evening it took me to do the few that were "off". Instead, I can tell you how to do it, so if you REALLY want your own custom tint you can do it yourself:
I used a program called Gimp. It's free, and it's like an advanced MS Paint that works with Skyrim texture files. But first you have to extract the compressed texture files (decompress them) and pull them out of Skyrims compressed files to work with them. In Oldrim they were .BSA files. In Anniversary I'm not sure since I know it uses a different file format, but there should still be an unpacker for them. Just do a quick search. Good Luck!
But, is there any chance at the inverse being done, ie, making the armor the same color as the weapons and shield? I personally think the color of the shield is better suited to the color of the ore you mine up, but don't have the skills to fix it myself.
Sorry, haven't checked my comments in a while. I don't plan on making a greener version for two reasons: 1, I can't just run the armor and weapon textures through a tint filter because of the leather straps on them. I have to individually and painstakingly cut out, re-tint and re-contrast all the metal parts or all the leather parts for every armor piece and weapon and it is VERY time-consuming and finicky (which is why I think some lazy dev didn't fix the wonky colors.). So yeah, your request would entail me not only re-creating the entire mod, but also nearly doing twice the extra work because a number of armor and weapon pieces I DIDN'T need to change for this mod. 2, I like to think of the green tint of orichalcum ore and ingots like the green oxidization on raw copper ore and weathered copper objects. Take for example the statue of liberty. So the green tint is the result of poorly refined or "rusted" orichalcum. The armor and weapons would naturally be well refined and maintained/polished, so wouldn't have nearly as much, but still some, oxidation on them . If anything I would go back and make the ingots less green, since they have been refined and should by my logic resemble the color of the less-green armor. Now that you brought it up I might do that, and if you want the materials to match their ore and ingots better you could use that optional texture set when I upload it. That wouldn't take me long at all.

But these cosmetic changes are great :)

Thank you for fixing this.
