After the Dec 5 update I noticed that the Hattu Keeper's armor that I and my companion are wearing were not rendering. The body parts covered by the chest piece were invisible and the helm, gauntlets and boots were light blue and all invisible in the inventory. I was having the invisible issue with any type of armor from the Immersive Armors mod. Your texture and mesh patch for IA solved the problem for the few items I had in my inventory unless the Marauder's Shiled is part of IA. I downloaded this mod and the helm, gaunlets and boots rendured when worn but not in the inventory except the helm. Chest was invisible both places. I am hoping you can take a look and see if there is a quick fix for the chest and inventory issue since your IA patch seems to fix these issues.
it sounds like you have some major incompatibilities/bugs in your load order. Probably linked to some bodyslides. This mod only contains textures and you seem to be having mesh issues. The reason my IA retexture might have "fixed" some of your issues is that I replace a lot of the meshes
Thanks for the quick reply. It sounds like the issue is with the meshes in the Helgen Reborn mod then. I am not using any custom bodyslides that I am aware of. It just seems odd that the Dec 5 update could create this issue. With all the same mods on the old version on my laptop including your two that I am using, there are no issues.
UPDATE: you were correct, it was the load order but nothing I did. It seems 1130 disabled a number of mods when it loads. You are then presented a screen listing these mods and asking if you want to enable them. Doing so apparantly loads them in the wrong order creating the observed problem and a bunch of others including SkyUI not working at all. The fix according to a post on the SkyUI page is to edit the file EngineFixes.toml and set the variable EnableAchievementsWithMods = false Also a warning to never use the Bethesda.Net Mod mananger to order your mods.
Hi, looks great, but I'm having a small problem. Whenever I equip the chest piece and pan the camera around my character in third person view I see some small black clutter lines that pop in and out of my character's chest. Any idea what that's about?
my mod only contains textures, so it shouldn't be from that. It sounds like an issue with closed-face helmets, but I'm not too sure how you'd go about fixing that
Omg! You madman. You actually did it! I remember mentioning something about this to you in passing some time ago. l've always wanted to use the armor set in a play through after having become a Keeper but I could never justify wearing it due to the outdated textures. This is everything I could've hoped for and more... Thanks Xav, truly incredible work yet again. With the amount of re-textures you're releasing people might start coining the term Xavrim at some point lmao
Very nice work, i'm really happy that someone is taking care of those mods and give them some refresh in terms of textures. Since that there is an armor pack like immersive armor, called Armonizer pack, maybe you can give a refresh to that mod too......
Could you add the insignias that are on the OG version Heavy set to the retexture, because without them the Heavy set looks just like a regular set of Steel Plate Armor, I'd like the imagery that identifies the wearer of both sets to say clearly I'm a member of the Keepers of Haatu Thalmor come at me so I can bash your skulls in with my Warhammer. Otherwise it would be a 10 out of 10 but its a 9 out of 10 right now as it could stand to have the heraldry on display a bit more to make it stand out from the regular steel plate armor: nothing like telling the Thalmor to come at me then this set.
Aaa, I love your work. Do you think you could change the squares on the chest so they're painted on with a brighter yellow, instead of being gold like the rest of the armour?
